Fastrak-MIdwest

You know T.nie I am not sure what you are all about ... I was asking real information. We have a mod and might be interested in the crate program.
Just like anyone else I have a right to get into any post and make comments and posts! Of course I could never be the "KNOW IT ALL" you are about everything! It would be nice to know the basic facts about both Crates classes in the area. You have not seen me blast Fast Track nor C.A.R.S nor will you. I should have known you'd be the first person to be anal retentive about the whole thing. After the free ride Fasttrack was so kind to offer you to fullfill the fields last year as their group was growing each week. Maybe since you are acting like the PR person for them and you want to make points that people will ACTUALLY stand up and listen to you might want to go about it in a different way that REAL RACERS will want to listen to. The ones that just might be able to afford to race in one of these series if not both. I mean really what is the difference ? I understand and so do most the people in this area understand what Fast track has done and are capable of ! But you can not knock the credability of the people involved in the C.A.R.S. series either. Both of these organizations should be commended for going outside of the box and offering something different. Who was 1st it should not matter. They should be flattered.
As for jumping into this post it was all about questions and conformations. Something you should be posting instead of slinging insults. And the only opinion I had T.Nie was they way YOU and Others have handled the whole conversation like a 2 year old. Besides you may have to cross a bridge tomarrow that you burned today! Good Day and Have a GREAT WEEKEND. Will be back on Monday !

Then why all the whining and crying on the other post about the C.A.R.S Series? Seems you have 3 tracks and 2 nights to race. Not sure why the issue is with another Crate Series that is off in the other direction of Saint Louis. Just can't figure out the reasons for all the pissing and moaning and ignorant name calling! Can someone help me to understand this. And not one of the 2 year olds on the other post doing the pouting!

Wanting the most educated response you never know what one might do . But do know what we might not do Thanks to some ignorant information on here!

Pissing, moaning, whining, crying, pouting, even ignorant, then you accuse me of slinging insults? Read the other thread thoroughly. I was asking the people behind CARS to answer what they were bringing to crate racing besides creating controversy and adding expense, and I managed to do so without ever resorting to accusing people of pissing, moaning, whining, crying, pouting, or of being ignorant. All things you managed to do in one post.

Hope you have a great weekend. Maybe before you open your mouth and start hurling insults and accusations around again, you will take a little time to think first, then type.

But I do apologise for my flippant remark. I should have thought a little before I typed it, too.

At the LOS Meeting there were about 28 that showing alot of interest. At Midway it looks as if around 20 or better were showing interest.
I look for about 12-15 to start the season with Midway and Eldon and it grow after that.
With the announcement of the IMCA Series going to Spec motors,I expect more to join.
The Fastrak Series will offer 3 motors this season-Lowe Chevrolet in Waynesville has the motors(602 or 604) ready to order as Midway has already bought 2. The 602 weight is 2300, 604 2400 and the Fastrak Motor is more expensive(6000 I think) and you must weigh 2450 with it.
Tony Jackson Jr already has his ready and rumors have Downtown Timmy Brown with one also.Jason Russell,Steve Beach,Danny Crane,Steve Payne,Jason Otto,Eddie Brown and several other(Josh Franklin and Kenny Carroll) are going Fastrak.Christian Rayburn is getting his together down here.
Eldon is expected to start the first weekend of May-midway will run the Fastrak Cars along with a FactoryStock Special in april and then get into the points battles.
Midway is looking at 500 to win and possibly 60-75 to start the feature on the weekly show-No spec motors will be allowed(but at the end of the season maybe a special challange race could be drumed up)and the drivers will be on Goodyears for the Crate LateModels

danny crane and steve payne are rumors,i heard the same thing and asked them a few days ago and they said no,steve beach is and russell maybe...

I'm sorry T.Nie I thought when you threw the first punch it was fair game. :D When I spar I am not going to mess around and do it several rounds. I am going for K.O. :D As for me thinking before I hurl insults and accusations around, I was just following your lead.  I personally have nothing against either organization. I applaud FastTrack for their vision in this area. And I wish C.A.R.S. the best of Luck for trying a new series. I did have the right to ask questions because we do own race cars and anything is a possiblity. Just wanted an unbiased point blank lay it on the line response about who is racing where and when. We do not travel very far from home these days so I was interested in the options and where they are. Being as we'd have to build our own and haul it that makes a big difference in choices. Flippant remarks are a dime a dozen and between the two of us we probally own a gross or two.. ;) It was good sparing with you. Maybe the next debate won't be as ugly :(

Is this the place?

Saw this on another board. http://www.4m.net/showthread.php?t=190622

"OLR will also becoming a FASTRAK sanctioned facility!
Run your Crate Late Model at OLR and be eligible to run at the Championship at Wythe Raceway - The Championship is a 3 day run off at the end of the year for the Crate Late Models and it is a $250,000.00 points fund. Also if any one driver wins all three nights it is a $250,000.00 bonus."

Where is Wythe, VA?

Don't know where Wythe is. But I do know that Stan Lester, the CEO of Fastrak did not post that.

What I am wondering is who "craterracer" is? 1 post, to try and stir stuff about the Fastrak Nationals being in Wythe, a place no one around here has ever heard of.

Not sure who crateracer is but he cut and pasted off of the 4m. web.

He copied from a NCMudCat- out of Greensboro , N.C. who has been around awhile since Aug 2001 and has 734 post! Might check with Mudcat and see where he got his information from. Is Wythe,Va where the nationals are going to be? What a beautiful part of the world :)

The location of the nationals has not been posted yet, But I am looking for the post by Stan Lester himself where he himself posted that the nationals were to be at a centrally located track not far from us here in southern Illinios.:)

just my opinion, but why would he have the Nationals in an area central to Southern Illinois when most of the Crate racing goes on in the Southern states. Seems to me he would want to take care of the area where he has the chance to draw the most cars. JMO

dirtgirl, don't pay any attention to that big bad internet tough guy. He's fast becoming the most well-known, know-it-all @-hole on here. Trust me, he did the same thing to me awhile back, I have a good memory.;)

There are four regions in Fastrak right now, Southern, Mid-East, Mid-West,and Pacific. The location of the Nationals will be in a place central to the United States, not Wythe, after all it wouldnt be fair to the Pacific coast racers to have to haul all of the way to the east coast. The nationals are supposed to be at a 3/8ths mile track somewhere not to awful far away from us. Read the other posts.

I live close to Eldon but I will continue to run my LLM. 10/15/06 started outside row 8 and finished 8th at Valley. After expenses, track and fuel still brought home over $200. I'll make the drive as I have too much invested in my two motors not too. Valley on Friday, CMS on Sat, and XX on Sunday.

Just asked a simple question, is that how you treat every body? A simple yes or no woulda been fine. I guess I should have looked it up myself first but I found a Wythe in Rural Retreat Virginia and mapquested it from the Arch. It's about 10 hours driving time and about 657 miles.

Crateracer,I really dont understand why it matters where Wythe is. I do know they do race crate cars there but it has absolutly nothing to do with what this post is about. Check out the other Fastrak posts and you will realize this. I realize there are alot of rumor spreaders on all of the different forums. The posts Im asking you to read are the ones that the CEO of Fastrak Stan Lester posted himself, nothing better than getting your information straight from the man in charge.

plumcrazy99----did you run california any this season?i ran there in the number 94 the last seven races, only finished out of the top 3 twice,i love that little track, the races i ran there there was ALOT of valley guys there.
