FASTRAK 2008 National Awards Banquet

Carnesville, GA (Dec-30) Every January, the FASTRAK Racing Series holds its annual National Awards Banquet honoring among other things its $50,000 to win GRAND NATIONAL Champion. Royce Bray of Hull, GA will be presented with not only the 2008 GRAND NATIONAL Champions trophy but also the Champions check in the amount of $50,000. Additionally, Max Blair of Titusville, PA will be honored as the FASTRAK Racing Series City Chevrolet National Weekly Champion by virtue of his 2 point margin of victory over Craig Bartz of Shawano WI.
Over the course of the 2008 FASTRAK Racing Series season, race fans turned out in record numbers. With the uncertain economy in the closing stages of the season where spiraling gas prices had finally eclipsed the $4 a gallon mark, race fans continued to flock to FASTRAK sanctioned tracks throughout September as the tightest points battle of any racing series in the country was destined to go down to the wire before being decided by a scant 2 points on the last day of the season.
The following week saw almost every region of the country holding its Night 1 of the 2008 FASTRAK Racing Series GRAND NATIONALS where once again, race fans filled the grandstands at each venue. As a result of the outpouring of fan support throughout 2008 where 1.6 million fans attended FASTRAK Racing Series events, the FASTRAK Racing Series is inviting race fans to attend the 2008 National Awards Banquet being held at the Sheraton Music City in Nashville Jan 22-24.
Race fans interested in attending the FASTRAK Racing Series 2008 National Awards Banquet will be entitled to the same accommodations and reduced room rates the Sheraton Music City has made available to all attendees. In addition seating will be reserved for the Awards Banquet on January 24.
