Pulaski, PA…FASTRAK Northeast has announced that driver Alan Dellinger and the #8 race team of Bob Williams Racing have been suspended and fined by the FASTRAK Racing Series after a cylinder head protest following his victory Friday night, May 15 at Raceway 7.

The determination was made by FASTRAK Northeast Tech Inspector and authorized engine builder Brad Hibbard with all parties present on Monday and confirmed separately on Tuesday by both FASTRAK National Tech Inspector Rick Ellison and General Motors themselves on Tuesday.

Per FASTRAK rules, Dellinger and Williams will be suspended from competing in any FASTRAK-sanctioned event for a period of 365 days and each have been fined $1,000 along with the loss of all points and monies earned. In addition, the engine builder has been barred for life as an engine builder for FASTRAK.

Per the FASTRAK rules book, Dellinger and Williams have the ability to appeal the decision.
