Thursday, February 26th will be practice and registration only. It is NOT mandatory that you be there -- just helpful. You can beat the Friday lines by getting registered on Thursday and if you haven't run the TMS Dirt Track before, any practice laps you can get will be helpful.

ATTENTION MODIFIED and LIMITED MODIFIED racers planning on racing in the TEXAS WORLD DIRT TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP at THE TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY Dirt Track:
It's time to PRE-ENTER! You have six weeks to get your entry turned in but don't put it off long. That deadline will be here before you know it! The entry must be postmarked by February 15th. Not only will pre-entering save you money ($100 vs. $135 for Modified entry fee & $75 vs. $110 in Limited Mod entry fee) but you are then eligible for one of two provisionals in each class (worth at least $750 A-main start money each in the Mods and $400 each in the Limiteds) to be drawn from non-qualifiers that PRE-ENTERED ONLY.

We're already warming up down here guys. Mid-60s today. There's a local race here (Boothill Speedway, Shreveport, Louisiana) this Saturday afternoon as a matter of fact.
For you Modified guys that want to come down and race at Texas Motor Speedway, you have 4 weeks or less to get pre-entered! Pre-entering will guarantee you at least your entry fee back as long as you race on Saturday and if you don't make the A main, you are then in a drawing with others who PRE-ENTERED ONLY for 2 $750 to start provisionals in that $3000 to win A-main event!
For you Modified guys that want to come down and race at Texas Motor Speedway, you have 4 weeks or less to get pre-entered! CORRECTION AGAIN!!!
Since Monday (today) is President's Day (federal holiday), you now have til Tuesday (tomorrow), Feb 17th, to get your PRE-entry mailed and postmarked.
Do that and not only will you save $35 on the fee, you're also then eligible to win 1 of 2 provisional starting spots for the Mods (should you need one) for the A-main worth $750 each or if you're racing a Limited Mod, 2 in the Limited A as well worth $400 each.
