February RAMS meeting

Jason, Jason, Jason what a retard. Threaten a police officer with bodily harm on the internet for everyone to see. Rebel is a officer. I suggest that you edit your post so the evidence is no longer there. I also find it interesting that Millsey and I haven't seen eye to eye and nobody has threatened to bust my melon. I wonder why that is?
HI Ron good to hear from you again... I sent a PM to Kyle, explaining my side of the situation. I realize you are just doing the same thing I was. Just sticking up with your friends.. I was wrong for using the language that I did!! Although I dont care what someones occupation is, I have assulting an officer on my record, whats one more.;) NO!!! That wasnt directed toward Rebel!! IT was a stated fact. Nice to know we havent lost you Ron, I was starting to wonder where you went!!;) ;) :D

Was there a Rams meeting yesterday or was it cancelled
for inclement weather?....As we were about to leave, we
were told it was snowing pretty hard in Park Hills, so we
decided to stay home....
BOB we had a foot of snow here, I cant believe you let that stop you.. You are going to ruin your perfect attendance record!!!:D I hear they voted in a new rule only giving Rams points to those who regularly attend meetings. Guess I'll never make it huh?;) I also hear they approved the purchase of a scope. I guess Joe will be shopping soon..

I guess you need not say anymore Joe. First of all I did not buy the car my neighbor did, get the facts straight. Second he (my neighbor) entered into an agreement with Rob while acting in good faith that Rob owned the car. As I explained to you on the phone when I spoke with you months ago, This matter is CIVIL between you and Rob. The purchase that was made by my neighbor is NOT criminal in nature because there is no culpable mental state during the transaction. In this incident you would have to prove that someone purchased that vehicle with the intent to deprive you or Rob of property or a monetary value. Since Rob said the car was his and since Rob was PAID for the car, i guess a reasonable person would believe that there was no intent to deprive him. Thus making in a CIVIL MATTER! Keep in mind that during this transaction with Rob, your name was never mentioned. It wasn't until months later when you posted a thread on this site that I had learned what ROB had did to YOU. Also keep in mind that I had the common courtesy to give you a call and explain what was going on. Not that i had to, but I did. Take Rob to court if you want your money, the whole ordeal had nothing to do with me. NOW......Need I say more?
Guess I was wrong on who puchased the car. Sorry for the comment. Won't be any more on this subject. Hope this will clear up this subject with everyone involved. Again I apologize to you Rebel, Thanks for the info. that you did give me. Joe Meyer

Here we go again. See what I meant by my PM to you Mr. Dearing!!! Why do you let Jeff do and say what he does on here. Most all major beefs on here involve him and nothing is done about it. And Jason, it is good to stand up for friends but some ain't worth it!!! Now let everybody pick my post apart!

Tom, I'll not argue that point, but I think the answer to your question may lie in a quote by Muhammad Ali which was, "I don't care if they love me or hate me, as long as they pay to see me"....Face it, this forum and the Rams forum (before it was shut down) probably got more hits than any other sub-forum on STL Racing....

My understanding was that the RAMS forum was closed to it's members because we wanted are site to "APPEAR" better to potential new tracks for instance Malden Speedway! Well...........they didn't sign with us. So I say give us our site back!! And further more Bob was correct our site took more hit than any other. The reason that this class is so exciting is that there is so much contraversy. The only thing I wish is that we wouldn't have lost the Lagarce boys and we are still hoping Ron gets mad enough he gets him another car and gets back on the track.(By the way I know where there is a nice truck for sale.:) ) The only thing that really needs to stop is the threats! We all want to protect our friends and I feel the same way I consider Kyle and the Lagarces good friends and if someone attacks them I would feel compelled to involve myself.

Here's the deal we all want our class to grow and do well. We have to start with what we can handle and understanding what we can't handle, like making everyone happy!!

1.What we need to do is open our forum up for ourselves and our fans!

I think we all know the direction we need to go and we have good people in volved we just need to get there!

A wise man(and a track owner to boot)once told me that St. Louis Racing.com was going to be the ruination of local racing. Let's not make him a prophet!!!

Tony I absolutely agree with you. What's so funny about the whole deal is we all want the exact same thing. Just because we disagree about how one thing or another is done should not lead to civil war. I want nothing but the best for the RAMS and ALL the people involved with it. I mean a few of us have stepped a bit out of bounds from time to time and I admit I've been one of them. I don't personally have any problems with anyone on here and Tom that includes you. I swear I'll do everything I can to keep harmony on here. Just because we disagree on a subject doesn't mean that person is a complete moron and should be crucified. So to all let's have a cease fire and start working together or at least tolerating each other's statements without being personally offended.

Tony, You crack me up. My brothers and I appreciate the comments (I consider Kyle a brother). I also agree, give us the site back. I will be at the track this year but as a pit crew member. I have went back to college full time and work full time. I don't have any money or spare time to own a car. I look forward to seeing the Littrell's, Kurt and Lane, and my old boss Jack.

Going back to college.................and they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks!!

I just went to the Rams forum & it only had 2 posts on it..One that I made back in December of '04 and "the Puppetmaster" pulled it backup to make himself look better...The other is the Feb. meeting announcement...
only two posts since it was closed to members several months ago....
Yeah, that should make the Rams appear to be going no where......

Which track did he own Tom, Was it Benton or Fredericktown?

Jeff, you have single handedly created one of the finest racing
organizations in the mid-west. I want you to know that the entire
membership will work to make you proud of what you started..
Granted, you had some help, but you basically devoted 3+ years
of your life to building this club to what it has became.an organization
that every member can be proud to say they are associated with..
Bob, the reason I had pulled that quote of yours back up was it's so hard to believe that a person that could have written this just a year earlier would have changed so much. You and I got along great for the longest time. That's why the sudden change of face was so hard for me to understand. As I just mentioned in an earlier post here, I would like for us all to go back to that working together mode. Of course we are going to disagree, that's not a bad thing in the slightest, but taking things to a personal level because of a disagreements over something we are doing for entertainment doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Let's just put our differences aside.

We all agree....... and in doing so we would like our site back and would like for everyone to understand that we are human and we will disagree, vent, and argue on this site. Millsey this is important to us no matter how insugnificant this seems. The sudden change and disregaurd to the members oppinion, and have it taken away as if they are children may have caused some of the lashing that has transpired, along with the negativity to you and others. For myself it has been agrivating having as a fan not being able to post on the rams site.
Just my oppinion, Thanks!

Where Is The President In All This ?

I think it would be nice to hear from the RAMS President ! Last year Crystal was " constantly " corresponding with the RAMS members on here. And I think it showed that she took a deep interest in what the fans and members wanted to know by making herself so available. She didnt have a mouthpiece doing it for her. JMO ...... Anyone agree or disagree ? :) LD

I personally think that the Rams forum should stay like it is, as long as the "Puppet Master" is moderator...Why is the Rams President not the moderator?....who wants a forum where you can only post what is approved by the Puppet Master....Don't believe me? Check out the Fredricktown forum.. Its unbelievable, the amount of posts made by others and edited or COMPLETELY DELETED by Mills..
