Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55's 2015 Late Model Tire Rule will be as follows: On the right rear, the Hoosier LM 40 is the only tire permitted. On the left rear, right front and left front the LM 20 & LM 40 are the only tires permitted.

I think i55 and TCS should make us run the same RR in hot laps/qualifying, heat, dash, and B main because you're still gonna have people bolting on a new RR every time they hit the track.

I'm not a late model driver, but a tire that's already heat cycled, as long as it's not sealed over, or worn out, is just as good, if not better, than a new tire, correct? Kinda like the old days of mounting scuffs in NASCAR?

I think in theory it has merit--the only drawbacks I can see is late in a feature cars will be running on a well worn RR--corse that's when driver ability will come to play---also the chain of supply regarding used tires will take a hit as many of the teams with $$$$ supply the lower buck teams with used rubber----JMO

I-55 & Tri-City only tire rule change for late models is the requirement for the LM 40 only on the right rear. Tri-City had said they were going to require you to use the same RR tire the entire night, but the next day they changed it to using the LM40 only on the RR. They no longer have the rule of using the same RR tire all night.
