All cars that were teched Saturday after the feature were found to be legal..

How many cars were teched and what did they just? Just curious, not bashing.
They teched Tim Hancock, Conrad Miner, C.J. Springer and Jeff LeBaube. I believe these are all crate motor guys and they were checking valve springs and other engine stuff. I certainly don't know the exact details.

They found you cheating on Bessinger car few years ago

That is absolutely true but Isn't that strange? The same carburetor was found to be legal when it was checked an hour before it was suddenly found to be illegal minutes before the feature race... The same carburetor that was used for years before that time as well as for years afterward and checked numerous times. It always managed to pass tech when checked with an industry standard gauge and every other time it was checked using the Allied gauge imagine that... In fact they(I-55 tech) didn't even KNOW what size the hole in the booster was supposed to be until WE told them, total nonsense cooked up by Jim Troutman.

Besides what does any of that have to do with this inspection? The only reason every engine passed is because they wanted every engine to pass, simple.

It's not amazing that they all passed when they didn't know what they were looking for in the first place sometimes it has nothing to do with the motor

In the past I have offered to help out.. My offer was always declined..

Besides maybe it is sort of a conflict of interest. I put a LOT of work into making my engines run better(particularly two barrel induction) because that's a part of racing that I enjoy.

You can kiss my ass McClain, that carb was illegal no matter what your pint sized brain thinks or says, no one cooked up anything other than you. It was illegal as caught by a green tech guy, then confirmed by myself and others, If you were half as smart as you think you are you would be a moron!

Boy what a wonderful vocabulary Jim. That was also on display that night at the speedway as well as on the telephone when you were told what size the hole in the booster could be according to industry standards.

That exact carburetor was run for YEARS before and after your wonderful inspection and not found illegal. It seems to me that it is obvious who doesn't know what they are doing...

Well that begs the question..... I assume the carb in question was a holley 4412? If he techs others at the track with the same type carb how can one be found illegal by the gauge he used and the rest not? Is there multiple sizes of 4412's in reference to where the gauge is supposed to fit? Just curious.

Exactly! The gauge is to the standard. McClain wears a tinfoil hat most of the time

McClain was playing the shell game with an illegal carb and got caught. Was Craig involved? I would bet not. When did you inform me of anything on the phone, never spoke to you on the phone in my life. As to language, you and your stooges could dish it out but then run crying when you get it back, snowflake much??? You're lucky it was found before the feature and not after. The only one that didn't know what he was doing was you and your minions thinking you could pull a fast one. I am sure being a journeyman tool and die maker for over 40 years now doesn't qualify me to use a simple gauge that the kid was using and found you out. Go cry some more about something that happened 5 years ago you twit! ... and if you don't like what I have to say, take a flying fuck at a rolling donut!!

BTW so anyone that races against any of McClains stuff, it wasn't a little large it was at least an 1/8" large and the carb had been checked numerous times when Craig had no help at the track. It mysteriously got big when McClain showed up!
