They found you cheating on Bessinger car few years agoI bet that inspection would have been hilarious to see.
They teched Tim Hancock, Conrad Miner, C.J. Springer and Jeff LeBaube. I believe these are all crate motor guys and they were checking valve springs and other engine stuff. I certainly don't know the exact details. How many cars were teched and what did they just? Just curious, not bashing.

Feel free to come have a look any time. It's not amazing that they all passed when they didn't know what they were looking for in the first place sometimes it has nothing to do with the motor
"Why don't one of you who know everything become the tech man? Do the racing world a favor and put your vast knowledge to use for something positive instead of internet lip service?"
Well said!!
You can kiss my aThat is absolutely true but Isn't that strange? The same carburetor was found to be legal when it was checked an hour before it was suddenly found to be illegal minutes before the feature race... The same carburetor that was used for years before that time as well as for years afterward and checked numerous times. It always managed to pass tech when checked with an industry standard gauge and every other time it was checked using the Allied gauge imagine that... In fact they(I-55 tech) didn't even KNOW what size the hole in the booster was supposed to be until WE told them, total nonsense cooked up by Jim Troutman.
Besides what does any of that have to do with this inspection? The only reason every engine passed is because they wanted every engine to pass, simple.

You can kiss my ass McClain, that carb was illegal no matter what your pint sized brain thinks or says, no one cooked up anything other than you. It was illegal as caught by a green tech guy, then confirmed by myself and others, If you were half as smart as you think you are you would be a moron!
Exactly! The gauge is to the standard. McClain wears a tinfoil hat most of the timeWell that begs the question..... I assume the carb in question was a holley 4412? If he techs others at the track with the same type carb how can one be found illegal by the gauge he used and the rest not? Is there multiple sizes of 4412's in reference to where the gauge is supposed to fit? Just curious.
