Feger's penalties upheld by WoO

after I read the response to the appeal, shouldnt ever car out there with white paint marker on the hoosier lettering on the side wall be disqualified, fined, and suspended????????????? or are they trying to make an example? i am just saying what I read.
 
I'll bet his back end is so sore he won't walk for a week. Sucks. I agree jimmy, kind of odd that they aren't mentioning the newly named winner to check him. Also the rule reads really stupid, you can't mark your tires with a white tire crayon to make sure I'm grabbing the right one in the dark or in a hurry?
 
The markings they are talking about are the vulcanized stamping of the tire style, size, and compound. For example LM 92-20 or LM 90-40. Years ago, high profile teams would pay someone to restamp their tires with a different marking to throw off their competition.

Thanks JD. I didn't know they checked all heat race winners too. I guess that should've been a duh. lol
