WHEATLAND, MO - Wanted Figure 8 Drivers! Track officials at the Lucas Oil Speedway are looking for drivers who are interested in competing in the Figure 8 division at the speedway for the 2006 season. The Figure 8 class is one of the two new classes being introduced this season and it has created a lot of conversation in the area.
To better answer questions about the new division, track officials have scheduled an organizational meeting for drivers who are interested in Figure 8 competition. The meeting will be held at the Lucas Oil Speedway general offices, located just off turn three at the speedway. The date will be Saturday, February 18th and the meeting will begin promptly at 10:00 am. Track officials will review the theory of Figure 8 racing and explain the rules that have been established for the class. There will be a questions and answer session at the conclusion of the meeting.
