Final Belle-Clair Race of 2009

Millstadt, IL – The O’Reilly POWRi National Midget and 600cc Outlaw Micro Sprint Series makes their final appearance of the 2009 season at the Belle-Clair Speedway in Belleville, IL on Saturday October, 3rd. Nick Knepper of Belleville, IL , Thomas Meseraull and Brad Loyet of Sunset Hills, MO have all claimed victories at the 1/5th mile bull ring during the 2009 season in the National Midgets with Derek King of Vienna, IL , Tony Roney of Herculaneum, MO and Andrew Felker of Carl Junction, MO taking victories in the Micro Sprints. Brad Kuhn of Avon, IN leads Tim Siner of Dupo, IL, Loyet and Knepper in the National Midget Championship point standings heading into the Belle-Clair event with only two events to go.

Kuhn and Loyet are past champions of the series with Siner and Knepper looking for their name to be etched in the record books as series champion for the first time. Derek King has all but wrapped up the Micro Sprint series points for his third POWRi 600cc Outlaw Micro Sprint Championship in a row. Other local hot shoes expected to attend are Daniel Adler of Columbia, IL who currently sits in 5th the National Midget point standings, Ted Kirkpatrick of Waterloo, IL, Austin Brown of Millstadt who is looking for his first National Midget victory of his career and Micro Sprint hot shoe Jason Cooper of Dupo looking for his first POWRi feature win of the season.

Belle-Clair general admission opens at 4:00 PM with Hot laps beginning at 6:00 PM and racing at 7:00 PM. General admission tickets are $12 each with kids 6 and under free. Stop by your local metro area O’Reilly Auto Parts Store to purchase your tickets and you’ll pay only $10.
