(Warrensburg, MO) This Saturday marks the final regular season weekly racing series track championship points-earning night at Central Missouri Speedway (CMS). Although a few of the champions have already been determined, there are still some tight battles heading into the weekend.

The tightest battle is in the Pure Stock division where Lone Jack, Missouri’s Logan Headley holds a narrow eight-point lead over Spencer Reiff of Kansas City. Each of the drivers have recorded two main-event victories during their season-long battle. Joey Harper, Gale Harper, and Jimmie Workman round out the top five.

Dillon Raffurty recently secured his third-consecutive Mod-Lite championship at CMS. Raffurty has 11 feature wins this season, more than any other driver in any class. The Raffurty family has a lock on the entire top five in the standings with David, Mike, Justin, and Jeff completing the top five.

In B-Mod action, Jake Richards of Lansing, Kansas, holds a 30-point lead over multiple-time champion Jacob Ebert. Richards is gunning for his first-ever CMS championship. Jeremy Lile, Kameron Grindstaff, and Don Marrs reside inside the top five.

A few weeks ago, it appeared Brett Wood of Warrensburg may have a challenger atop the Street Stock standings; however, Wood has gone on to collect yet another CMS championship, his fifth in the last six years at CMS. Jimmy Ngo, Chris Kircher, Nathan Vaughn, and Randy Jester round out the top five.

Tim Karrick of Basehor, Kansas has victories at CMS dating back to 2002 but 2019 will mark the veteran driver’s first-ever CMS A-Mod championship. Karrick has five feature wins this season. Terry Schultz, Gunner Martin, Rodney Schweizer, and Kameron Grindstaff complete the top five.
