Flora powder puff accident

Anybody have any details on the accident in todays powder puff race? And the condition of the two people involved. I was there and it didn't look good.

There's some info at the link above. We went on the way back from Tri City and it was by far the scariest thing I've ever witnessed in person. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

Yes it was the powder puff race. The car rolled several times in turn 3 & 4, where he was thrown from it. He was flown to Evansville and has a spine injury. She did not survive. Prayers and thoughts go out to the family.

me and my 10 year old niece were sitting right by the exit to turn 4 and it was scary being a weekly racer on that track. one of my fellow racers daughter was in the 26 tha barely missed all that..

I have not attended a powder puff race before so why weren't they in harnesses?

i am sure they were however enduro cars have a completely differant set of rules, I dont know why caus they run just as fast most enduro cars dont require a certified racing seat or belts they use stock stuff that came from manfacturor
