Florence Speedway steps up and throws out their top 2 in points for cheating tires!

Jerry Rice and Jason Jameson, who were the top 2 in points at Florence Speedway were both suspended for 5 weeks and fined $1,000 for chemically altering tires. Neither of them can race in the upcoming North/South 100. The penalty takes them out the rest of the year at Florence except for their season ending race on Oct. 22nd.

Word is, they were getting their stuff out of Highland.

It couldn't be the stuff from Highland. The gentleman who sells that product insists it is undetectable. I read it right here on Stlracing. He wouldn't bend the truth about a thing like that would he?

can you prove out wasn't!!!!! Stop spreading rumors!!!!! Tired of you morons condoning this stuff....QUOTE=T.C. Springer;754883]Can you prove it? If not, stop spreading rumors.[/QUOTE]

Did I condone anything about tires or any cheating what so ever? NO. Read the F-ING post. If you want to crucify the guy for stuff he DOES, more power to you.

Ever heard of innocent until proven guilty?

But you idiots who spew off at the mouth with "I heard" and "my cousins brothers friends sisters dad said this" do nothing but start rumors. And THAT'S what we need, more rumors!

As-hole.

Florence is starting to get a reputation for enforcing tire rules. Last year, Florence suspended Bart Hartman for the same type of infraction.

This tire dope has been around for a longgggggggg time! These tracks won't keep up w/ the doping of tires. This costs the tracks / organizations alot of $$$ to keep sending these tires off to get tested. In my mind, it's not cheating until you get caught! And when you do get caught................... don't cry about it. **** it up and suffer your fines and etc. or get a camper and a fishing rod! LOL!!!!

Most of all....Have fun and enjoy the forums!
T C Springer.....you may want to review these rules as there is a reason Jimmy posted them. Second.........you have a right to express what opinion you have. To call others names.....is not. Just because its not your opinion doesnt make your opinion gods opinion. Here say happens every week....if you dont wanna read it....click to another thread. If Jimmy doesnt like it..he will delete it. As to the matter.......i dont care where it came from. Im glad they have the force to uphold their own rules. Good for them.

They HAVE to do this. Its their liability as they run a business. Ill repeat what ive said before. Go ask any insurance person about liability of a business concerning haz mat spills and soil contamination. Your eyes will blow out. That is what most of these dopers use is really harsh stuff because its easy to get and untracable to who has it. Paint thinner..........kerosene......diesel fuel.....toluene ect ect so on.

Im amazed at some of the places ive witnessed being cleaned and how little they have to take........but yet pay a huge price to get rid of due to rules and regulations by the EPA. Its really crazy stuff.

Have you ever read what is in used motor oil that makes it hazardous,it is not hazardous til t is used.it has benzene in it and other chemicals if an engine blows up and lays oil down it will leave alot more dangerous chemicals than someone with prepped tires.if the E.P.A is going to go nuts over this why haven`t the go cart tracks been shut down?this is not the reason the series want to do away with tire prep it is the money Hoosier will not make if people don`t buy as many tires. If they can police it and rid the sport of it more power to them, but I don`t think it is possible.

Blah blah blah. I saw him include me in the "idiots condoning cheating" so I took that as a personal attack. Cry all you want, I don't care.

Go kart tracks are doing away with it as of now too. Read around.....they are dropping preps. And its due to insurance and liability. Plenty have done away with it............ckeck around

Hey.........its a fact.....im not making any of it up. Check Kart forums.....websites.......track rules. They are even imposing fines if your caught with it on you.........dont even have to use it.

My whole thinking is this......its like the guy who drinks and drives home without a wreck. Was it ok? No..........there are rules stating that its not..........he just got lucky. Same thing with tire dopers......there is a rule out there saying its against the rules. Undetectable........detectable..........smectable........rule says no. So...why cant everyone just be a REAL MAN about it.............run legal and actually outdrive your cometition. If you cheat........hope this makes your ego feel better knowing what you did.
