I got a 03 GRT Late Model and it is lacking forward bite. Could use more side bite from middle out also. Car gets in corner great.
What other changes can i do to help increase forward bite.
Rear suspension: 4 bar
Left upper: 23 degree (we even moved it up 2 holes)
left lower: 6 degree
Right upper: 18 degree
right lower: level

J bar: 8" rake

Springs
550 LF 375 RF
275 LR 225 RR
Left rear behind axle

I had 106 LBS bite (with Driver)
Left side: 55.3% (with Driver)
rear: 52.3% (with Driver)

torque arm has a progressive spring (200 up), took preload out (didnt help). torque arm coil over located 34"

When you get on the gas, how much chassis sepperation are you getting? For the most part, chassis seperation is an indicator of foward bite.

I might be wrong here but, I think your spring on the torque arm is too light. That thing has to lift a large percentage of the cars weight. If it's too light seems to me that your not transfering the load to the rear tires enough.

What kind of rear steer are you looking for? My thinking of rear steer might be way off from what really works...haven't had a chance to try my ideas yet. So if your wanting to talk some about your set-up on msn pm me and I'd be happy to give you my contact information to talk a bit more private about it. I'm not wanting to show everyone here how stupid I really am...lol
