A Bounty of Racing Personalities and St. Louis Steamers Tickets
Will Be Available at the 37th Annual Banquet of Champions

St. Louis, MO - The first name in motorsports safety, Bill Simpson, will be one of the many motorsports personalities who will attend the St. Louis Auto Racing Fan Club's 37th Annual Banquet of Champions Saturday night at the Stegton Regency Banquet Center in St. Charles, MO. Joining Simpson as guest speakers will be USAC Triple Crown Champion and open wheel veteran Dave Darland, and Bob Sargent, a co-owner of two sanctioning bodies, the United Midwestern Promoters (UMP) and the Northern Allstars Late Models (NALM) in addition to being the promoter at the Springfield and DuQuoin Mile tracks, Farmer City, IL, and special events at selected Midwestern tracks.

Robbie McGehee, the 1999 Indy 500 Rookie-of-the-Year, will join the celebration of the St. Louis area's 2003 motorsports season.

The St. Louis Steamers soccer team will be providing two free tickets to an upcoming Steamers soccer game to each person in attendance at the Banquet of Champions. The Steamers are also donating four tickets to the Soccer All-Star Game on February 29 at the Family Arena for the banquet's silent auction.

The silent auction will also feature a pair of tickets to the NASCAR Busch Grand National race at Gateway International Raceway (GIR), a pair of tickets to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Race at GIR, a Budweiser package including a pool stick and darts, a package provided by Hoosier Tire, tickets to one of the World of Outlaws shows at I-55 Raceway (the winning bidder gets to choose which show), a leather Hoosier Tire jacket, several autographed collectibles including a Cruz Pedregon autographed "Incredible Hulk" hand, and an autographed set of photos featuring St. Louis Cardinals-sponsored cars driven by hometown favorites Kenny Wallace and Robbie McGehee.

Champions from UMP, Belle-Clair Speedway, the Big River Sand Drags, Fredericktown Raceway, Gateway International Raceway, Godfrey Speedway, I-55 Raceway, I-70 Quarter Midgets, the MARA Midgets, Montgomery County Speedway, Mt. Vernon Speedway, the RAMS Mini-Stocks, St. Francois County Raceway, the Southern Missouri Dwarf Cars and Tri-City Speedway will be honored.
