Just to let you know, my father, Rich Dambacher asked me to post this....so here goes:

What happened Friday night at Belle-Clair Speedway Friday night 4-26-13 during the Late Model Feature should have NEVER happened for ALL parties involved. Mark Voigt came into Turn #3 & 4 a little hard and made contact with Frankie Martin and spun him out. Frankie Martin made a 360 and NEVER made contact with another car in back of him and continued forward with the race. I'm NOT saying that Mark Voigt took Frankie Martin purposely out, but he did make contact with Frankie Martin causing him to spin out. The Official in Turn #4 must have had his head where the sun don't shine, or he only sees what he wants to see. I have NEVER seen a Yellow Flag come out sooo fast at Belle-Clair Speedway in all my times in attendance at Belle-Clair Speedway. Most of the time, the yellow flag does NOT come out until 1/2 or 3/4 of a lap has gone by and all of the cars are upon the cars involved in the yellow. 99.9% of the time the car that spins the other car out goes to the back of the field and the other "innocent car" gets his/her spot back.....unless both cars have been banging and rubbing on each other, then they both deserve to go to the back.
Most of the drivers in all of the classes that come to the Speedway are average "Joe's." They put a lot of time, money, effort, and their heart and souls into their cars to come to the track and put on a good show for all of the fans. These drivers can NOT afford to have these BAD calls made taking points and money away from them. These kind of judgements made by the Officials are gonna have to stop, otherwise there will be NO cars in the pits and NO fans in the stands to SUPPORT the track at Belle-Clair Speedway.

This Post was written by : Rich Dambacher and in NO WAY reflects the thoughts or feelings of The Frankie Martin Racing Team. These views and opinions are Rich's and Rich's only. Rich Dambacher has been coming to the racetrack since he was a young boy in the 1950's and if YOU want this racetrack to survive, you better shape up and make unbiased and consistent race calls.

That's the rules #30 made contact with #25 and spun him out. They both go to the back. That rule has always been like that at Belleville and I-55. It doesnt matter if they are beating on each other or not. Yellow flags/lights come out as soon a offical see's anything. Nobody waits until the cars drive by the wreck. You said #25 did a 360. Well hell ya that light better come out fast if he's facing traffic head on

I understand for the safety of ALL of the driver's throw out the yellow as fast as you see it......but,.......I have seen wrecks in the corner and the yellow doesn't come out UNTIL the cars are approaching the banged up cars or another example is the slow car driving around the top of the track for what NOW 2-3 laps.....HELLO, that driver is in danger of being rear-ended very badly!!
Anyways, I have witnessed races at Belle-Clair Speedway where ONLY 1 car has went to the back for intentionally spinning out another car and ONLY 1 car went to the back of the field!!!!! I believe King Kong Korte was involved in one of those so called spin outs and was either the giver or the receiver of the spin. So, Consistency of the race calls is what the post is all about.......some cars get their spots back and some don't.......and I know that my father and I have NOT been the only witnesses to this, otherwise you are just as bad as the official in Turn #4.......you must have had your eyes someplace else and NOT been watching your assigned corner!!!!

Um have you seen an Allied officiated race? This is the standard of which they operate on. If your not one of their buddies your gonna get the short straw. Everyone knows this and has pretty well given up. A corrupt system will be its own demise.

99.9% of the time the car that spins the other car out goes to the back of the field and the other "innocent car" gets his/her spot back

I respectfully have to disagree with this statment. Seldom, if ever, have I seen the "innocent car" get his spot back.

The king is exactly right on this. No, always does the one who hit someone to spin go to the back , but the one who spins does. The judgement is only of who caused the caution. In this case both cars were called for the yellow. But never in the 42 years have I seen different with allied. I know how hard it is to accept but its my belief this is about the most fair way of handling it. Some tracks run on the if you stop you are the caution but way too many times I have seen this cause huge very dangerous conditions with guys driving thru crashes to avoid being part of the caution. I hope Rich takes some time to cool down and move forward, his support of the sport is very appreciated. Sometimes you just have to call it a bad night at the track.

I don't recall the guy who spins ever getting his spot back. Only chance is if there is another car that spins or breaks at the same time and they call the caution on that car.

Not one time is there mention of FAVORITISM in the original post....all that we are stating to the Official's is to realize that the calls are lacking consistency. King Eddy stated that it happened already this year in 2013 in the Shamrock 40. He was punted around in Turn #3 & 4 and since the Official in Turn #4 "didn't see it" only 1 car was put to the back. NOW is that consistency ROGER???

Ok Roger, what about the race last year I believe with King Kong Korte and Michael Kloos where King Kong Korte went into Turn #3 pretty hard and spun out Michael Kloos and King Kong Korte went to the back and Michael Kloos got his spot back??? That is the consistency of the calls I am talking about. I have someone who was standing in the pits who stated, "Voigt went into Turn #3 pretty darn hard and didn't lift and spun Martin out." Was it intentional....I don't know I was not in either car, so I do NOT know the answer to the question at hand???? That is why I am posting it to ask the Officials to be more consistent or get a more consistent Official to stand in Turn #3 & 4 to make these calls more consistent for ALL DRIVERS involved in such instances. Not asking for favoritism at all....just plain and simple right is right and wrong is wrong calls to be made fair and square, but this seems to be impossible. So, I think I am beating my head against the wall, so that is all for now. Thank You :)

I am not the bad guy here Tracy I am just stating how I see it. Not sure why so hostle. You are the one complaining about a call that is made almost every week not me.

Btw I was giving your family its props for all they do for the sport guess you didnt read that far down.

If kingkong spun out by himself and 6k had nowhere to go but to spin himself out to avoid blasting 00 he get his spot back. But if the 6k took out the 00 they both go to the back. That has ALWAYS been the rules

50DixonFan......The race went like this.....King Kong Korte was behind Kloos and caused Kloos to spin out and it was done intentionally and Kloos got his spot back and Korte went to the back of the field and the crowd cheered (at least where I was sitting). I was just making a point that it is not ALWAYS as you say that BOTH cars go to the back, sometimes the Officials put one car in the back and one car gets their spot back. Just trying to make a point that's all.

Turn Left.....Roger, Yes I realize my dad, Rich Dambacher does support the racetrack and Jr. Fan Club and I did see that you acknowledged that and my dad takes great pride in supporting the sport of racing and the race car drivers that he sponsors. But, there comes a time when it becomes more and more aggravating to attend the races then it is fun. The race calls are just not fair for everyone. It depends if you are Don Klein, Ed Dixon, Michael Kloos, Mark Voigt, Mike Schulte, or Frankie Martin just how that call will be made when the cars mentioned above are involved individually in a caution. It has culminated over the years, and is NOT just from this one race it is more of a cumulative effect and this last race was the straw that broke the camels back. Call it whatever you want, but everyone has their own opinion and their choice to do what they want with their own time and their own money advertising their business.

I have to admit (and I say this with all due respect), it sounds more like sour grapes directly related to this incident to me.

It appears disingenuous when you say, “all we want is consistency in the calls and it has culminated over the years” yet you have never brought up the issue until it happend to the team you sponsor. I don't recall you or your dad chastising Allied or approaching the promoter when those other “bad calls” you speak of were made...(and I could have used some help acting like an idiot when I went on a rampage after I felt we got screwed..lol) If this were a cumulative issue and getting to the point of not being fun to me, I would certainly have had a conversation about it before I wrote the check last year and certainly before doing so again at the beginning of this year.

I agree with what others have posted in hoping Mr. Dambacher settles down and reconsiders. I too am thankful for his support of BC over the years, we are truly lucky to have him. I also hope, if a financial obligation was agreed upon for the Dambacher 40, that it was honored.

Great post! I also do hope feelings get settled down so the deal goes through. Ive been on the other side of the fence and had calls not gone my way but it happens and you have to move on. If you feel it is favortism then ive found its best to talk to the officials one to one in a calm but direct manner as well as whoever is running the show. But to me the correct call was made. Have i seen that same deal gone the other way? Yes i have. But i never question an officials set of eyes as he has his hands quite full doing his job and puts up with alot of crybabys along the way yelling and screaming at him weekly. Trust me been there done that and its a big set of shoes to fulfill. If you do feel the officials ar ethere to get you so to speak why not goto another track??? Not saying Belleville is a bad place but mix it up. When i went to Godfrey it was like a fresh breath of air. Loved that place and to me i felt i was treated totally different. Good luck and hope you all calm down and change your minds.

Uhm King Eddy, are you around everytime my father, Rich Dambacher talks with Don Hoener or an Official or Stan??? I think not....I don't think there is an "OVERHEAD page stating.....Mr. Dambacher is complaining to the officials.....please meet at front gate ticket booth so YOU ALL can get the details.....LMFAO!!!"
My father has talked with Don Hoener before about certain calls made over the past couple of years, and before that to other powers that be regarding certain calls that were made regarding Ed Dixon, Donnie Klein, Mike Schulte, Michael Kloos, Frankie Martin, and others regarding the calls that were made on the track......so sorry you DID NOT receive the MEMO regarding the incident and I DID NOT post a comment on this web-site because like I said earlier I do not need the DRAMA, this original post was my father's idea NOT MY IDEA, in fact I personally warned him AGAINST it as I knew this is exactly what would happen words would be put in his mouth and useless rumors would be spread!!!

King Eddy for the LAST TIME... Rich Dambacher had NOTHING to do with the financial obligation of the DAMBACHER 40.....the payout was increased, but that was all on Don Hoener. My dad reserved the box or the Taj Mahal and bought 40 tickets for the people inside there, so do the math 40 X $15= $600 paid for admission tickets to the races and all the drinks and food they wanted to consume. The "Dambacher 40" was Don Hoener's idea, I suppose in appreciation for all that my dad does for the track which my dad actually enjoys doing and takes pride in sponsoring the track and race car drivers.....he also hauls in rock in for the pits or outside pit area when needed at the last minute if it is wet when it has rained so you guys have a place to park your cars and NOT be in the mud, My dad advertises his business with a sign in Turn #2, My dad sponsors Jr. Fan Club and sponsors nickel races and donates bicycles for the kids throughout the year
So, this was a very FUN & enjoyable evening for all of us in the Taj Mahal. Then a call was made that some of us thought was not right, even some of the people in the booth that normally sit in Turn #3 were against the call on the track. Such is life and if you all want to dwell on this incident so be it..........I would rather remember my dad and think of him as a gentleman who is generous and very supporting of the track. Geesh, everyone makes a mistake and we all just need to move on, but you all continue to comment, and I feel the need to comment back, because MY FAMILY is way too important to me to not stand up and support my family and MY DAD who means the WORLD TO ME <3

I was there sitting at the start/finish line and saw the 25 get punted. After a few minutes i saw him pull off into the infield waiting to leave the track. Was he DQed?

Nope I don't believe the #25 was DQ'd as it would have stated that in the racing results and it just said DNF the race.....
