Frostbuster 50 Rained Out and Rescheduled for Friday, April 17th Running UMP Late Models, UMP Modifi

Pontoon Beach, IL (April 10, 2009) Heavy rain has forced Tri-City Speedway to postpone the Frostbuster 50 scheduled for Friday, April 10th. The event has been rescheduled for Friday, April 17th and will feature UMP DIRTcar Late Models competing for $10,000 to win and UMP DIRTcar Modifieds competing for $2,000 to win. Also racing will be the UMP DIRTcar Pro Late Model division. The USMTS Modified Series, which was originally scheduled to be part of the Frostbuster 50 have been rescheduled to return to Tri-City Speedway on Friday, May 29th.

The payouts for the late models and modifieds will be the same on April 17th as they were scheduled to be on April 10th. The entry fees will also be the same which is $100 for late models and modifieds.

The driver's meeting starts at 6pm with hotlaps at 6:15pm with late model qualifying starting immediately after hotlaps. All seating is general admission and prices are $25 with kids 12 and under FREE.
