The 11th. annual Full Moon Saloon Benefit Racecar Show will be held on Saturday March 9th. Fun for the entire family. Once again, ALL PROCEEDS will benefit childrens charities. If you have been to the show before then you know what to expect from the area's premier race car show. Great kickoff party for the racing season. The show starts around noon, but if you are bringing a racecar we ask that you be there at 11:00.If you have any questions, please call Brian Eaves at (618)792-5228. Thanks.
 
While donations are coming in, we need some help in a couple of areas. We need sponsors for both our event t-shirts and our trophies. If you or a business that you know of is interested in placing an ad on the shirts the cost is $125. Trophy sponsorship is $50 per class. If this isn't for you, any donation will be greatly appreciated. As alot of you already know, Candi fell in the snow last week and broke her leg. Therefore she is limited in her ability to do what she has done in the past to make this show such a great success. This is a huge set back as most of you know as well that I'm a vegetable most of the time. I hope that we can count on the drivers, owners, and fans to give us a little help this year. Remember, ALL proceeds that are generated from this show goes to childrens charities. 100%! Thank you all for your support.

Thanks MRP Motorsports (Tomahawk BnG) for your support. We will do all that we can to have the car ready for your show. We will be there with or without the car. Also thanks to Schaffer Oil (Jimmy Clark) for donating 5 cases of racing oil. We will probably draw a name from each class to determine who gets the oil, so that every participant has a chance. We also recieved a donation from David Vanvorst from Delaware. That's right, we're nationwide. lol. For all you Richard Petty fans, we have a real nice artwork print of the King autographed by both the artist and Petty himself. It does come with the certificate of authenticity. We are still in need of trophy sponsors if anyone is interested as well as shirt sponsors. I will to try to get the list of those who have donated later. Again, thanks to everyone for your support. It's shaping up to be another good time.

One of the more popular items that has been donated to our show is back again this year. Belle-Clair Promotions has again donated an all access pass to Belle-Vegas. That means exactly what it says, a free pass to the grandstands or the pits for the entire year. Racers can race for free, spectators can watch for free. You can watch the heats from the stands and the features from the infield. Come on out Saturday and take a chance on this great promotion. Thanks Don Hoener.

Hey, something new to the show. In an effort to get the kids involved more, this year we will have a kids choice award. A trophy will be presented to the best looking car as voted on by kids 12 and under. This wil not be by class. The kids will vote for their favorite car of the entire group.We will allow the voting from 1:00 til 2:00, give or take. (it's really hard to stick to a schedule). This show has always been about kids, so bring them out on Saturday and let them ROCK THE VOTE!

Good luck to all and enjoy the show! A great cause and lot's of fun! I have to take a rain-check this year,so I hope someone posts some pics. :)
