So I guess the moral of the story is get there on time and you won't have to worry about this problem.

Why, you, of course. What a genius. READ THE POST before making some stupid comment.

I was at another function and could not get there any earlier.

Get Over It Tunie The Rent A Cop More Then Likely Was Told Not To Let Anyone In After A Certain Point Of The Night He Is Not The Ticket Lady So Ya I Guess He Coulda Told U To Try The Pits But He Didnt But No Matter What U Got In So Shut Up Already!!!!

t.nie, I've been up there at Highland, and I've seen the cop you're talking about. At I-55, if you nod or say hi to the rent-a-cops, at least they acknowledge you. At Highland, they glare at everyone that comes in, like they'd rather spit on you than talk.

T. Nie

I think you did it the correct way. It's ashamed no one wanted your money. If you ever have that problem again ( someone taking your money ) just give me a call I will be more than Happy to line my pockets LOL!!!! ;)

have you noticed that something about highland racetrack pops up on here after the races almost every week? Pretty bad huh.......

Even The 96 Thought He Had Won I Believe He Was Headed To Victory Lane

It is obvious who won that race. The officials decisions are final. I was going nowhere near victory lane, I pulled up along side Nathan to congratulate him on a very well earned win. Everyone comes on here and offers their opinions on what happens and what should have happened and what they think happened, but the officials have about 8 sets of eyes watching all different parts of the track and they have the best vantage point to make decisions on what happened. If they saw Nate get a raw deal and saw it fit to give him his spot back, then I beleive that is what should have been done as they saw what went on a he77 of a lot better than enyone else at the track. Good job on one great race Nate.

Racefan Just to let ya know also one the of 19 pit crew member (owner) had talked to charlie sat night and charlie stated " i said 6 times over the radio to pull the yellow and they finally did after the one lap we gave the 19 his spot back and DID NOT COUNT THE LAP THAT WAS RAN when the 19 was on the corner"
Matt way to put it man way to race dude i agree with you one of the guys said on here that u were black flaged and i knew u wernt some people need to read results on here before they say nething

I would try to contact someone on the fair board and question them about this policy. In years past, the security guard would charge a reduced price after the ticket lady had left but I still thought it was too much especially after the LM's and Mod's had ran. Since ending their relationship with the SARA, the fair board has tried to listen to the fans concerns. For years, the policy was that if you left the grandstands for any reason you had to pay again to get back in even if you did have a ticket. They changed this policy several years ago after fans voiced their disapproval. There is an e-mail address on their website but I don't know if it is to the fair board or one of Charlie's officials. The first year that Charlie took over the track there was a fair board official that posted on here under the username of MadCoFair. He always sent me a prompt replly to my e-mails but I haven't seen him at the track for several years.

That being said, I have a question about the #88 sportsman car. I am sure that car is driven by Bill Knebel Jr. but the results page showed Glen Salmons as the driver.
I know Glen and have never known him to drive a stock car. If this is a mistake, it needs to be corrected so Bill gets the points.

well then someone needs to talk to the announcer because it was brought to my attention by someone i dont even know that he said the 96 was black flagged i just see alot of favortism at that track yes there is at all but that was some **** i have never see like now days if one guy spins out and three spin also ever one gets thier spot but the first guy that spun and caused it he goes to the back thats bogus if six spin six go to the back no questions asked

when more cars from not around highland show up and people that havent ben there before they will have one to be on the safe side
