If you bring your kids to Belle-Clair Speedway on Friday nights please READ CAREFULLY and you can help them win a $10 Toys R Us gift card from Haffer Brothers racing!
For your child to have a chance to win, they must complete the 3 tasks listed below this Friday night May 15th at BelleClair Speedway!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) They must draw and color a picture of our #37 pure stock race car. (photos can be found on TriCitySpeedway.net, BelleClairSpeedway.com, or here at stlracing.com)
2) They must bring 1 recent homework paper in which they got an "A" on and show it to ME PERSONALLY AFTER the races!
3) They must show me their protective ear wear that they wear to keep the noise from damaging their ears. (after the races)
SAFETY FIRST! We think it's a very smart idea to make sure your child's ears are protected from the loud noise of the race cars at every track they attend, especially at Belleville because of the large roof that echos and magnifies all loud engines.
DID YOU KNOW? The decimal levels of race cars are equal to that of a 747 airplane flying directly over your heads, and can severely injure or rupture a child's ear drums in a matter of seconds!
How do we know? I had a young cousin once who attended the races for the very first time and her mom couldn't figure out why she kept complaining of her ears hurting. She was not wearing any protection on her ears. Just days later her ears started bleeding and she immediately took her to the Emergency Room to find out that her ear drum had ruptured from severe decimal levels! Young children are still developing and their ear drums are very suseptible to damage from loud noises, which also include loud music. So please pick up some ear plugs ($1.50 at the race track) and make sure your child gets used to wearing them during the races! Thanks very much for helping to keep your kids safe and for helping them become smart race fans!!!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
HOW THE WINNER WILL BE CHOSEN:
ALL KIDS WHO COMPLETE THESE 3 TASKS WILL RECEIVE SOME FREE CANDY IN OUR PITS AND WE WILL PUT THEIR NAMES IN A BUCKET AND DRAW 1 LUCKY NAME OUT!!! The winner will be announced on Friday May 22nd and they can pick up their gift card from me personally at intermission or after the races!
