Funny Car Chaos Welcomes Mo-Kan Dragway to 2018 Host Tracks
Funny Car Chaos isn't done yet! It was announced today that this rules free Funny Car extravaganza will host an outlaw eight car field at historic Mo-Kan Dragway in Asbury, Missouri on Friday and Saturday, April 27th-28th. Mo-Kan is the longest continuously operated drag strip in Missouri, located just outside of Joplin. In it's early years, Mo-Kan attracted many of the big name drag racers like Don Garlits, Dickie Harrel, Benny Osborne, Jimmy Nix and Gene Snow who match raced at Mo-Kan, just to name a few. Art Arfons' "Green Monster" and Bill Golden's "Little Red Maverick" also could be found entertaining the crowds. Chris Graves and FC Chaos highly anticipate showcasing Funny Cars 'unleashed' at this historically rich grassroots facility. In 1999 Carl Blanton took over operations of Mo-Kan Dragway and this year marks his 20th Anniversary holding the reigns. The addition of Funny Car Chaos has Blanton excited to say the least.

An eight car open outlaw field will be hosted with $15,000+ in payouts up for grabs, paying $5,000 to the winner. Absolutely no restrictions are put on engine combination or body style as Funny Car Chaos welcomes any and all flip top floppers to the mix. The April date at Mo-Kan will kick off a four race frenzy in 2018 as FC Chaos will also thunder through the gates of Amarillo Dragway, Central Illinois Dragway and North Star Dragway this year.
