Gas Prices?

still $3.09 here in fulton missouri.been that all week.

Still $2.99 here in Farmington.

I think the best way to reduce demand in attempt to drive down prices it to car pool more, make better use of your trips(get it all when your out), dont leave your vehicle running, try to drive the hauler or SUV as little as possible, make sure your tires are aired up and your filters are clean ect...

If that doesn't work perhaps we could convince the politicians to invade the opec nations and take the oil, or just lob some missles at them until they release more oil and lower the price of crude.

But in economics terms, the bottom line with an oligopoly is that none of them work against their competitors, they all work together. Sure, what one does affects another, so they make sure that the only affect they have on each other is making each other wealthier and more profitable. That way, they just keep getting more money. And this is gas we are talking about, not Coke or Pepsi. We can choose not drink soda at all; we have no choice but to buy gas.

sounds like we need to get together and buy a gas station and charge 1.98 for gas we should make a fortune..... but on the other hand the oil companies would charge us 2.50 for a gallon to refill our underground tanks
