Gateway International Raceway Announces Partnership With Doc's Harley Davidson

MADISON, IL - Doc's Harley Davidson, is back as the major sponsor of motorcycle drag racing at Gateway International Raceway. The St. Louis based Harley Davidson Sales and Service center and longtime Gateway sponsor has signed on to be the title sponsor of Gateway's Street Bike and Pro Bike weekly racing series. Doc's has also worked with Gateway to create the Doc's Quick Street Bike and Doc's Quick Harley Program during the Wednesday Night Slick Tire Test and Tunes.

The Doc's Harley Davidson Street Bike and Pro Bike classes will run on Saturday with Gateway's weekly drag racing program. Doc's support has allowed Gateway to be one of the few tracks in the country to run both a Street Bike and Pro Bike category.

The Doc's Harley Davidson Quick Street Bike and Doc's Quick Harley will be contested during Gateway's Wednesday Night Test and Tunes. They will match the quickest two street bikes and the quickest two Harley's to see who's got the quickest street bike and Harley of the evening.

Doc's Harley-Davidson is located at the intersection of Lindbergh and Big Bend in Kirkwood, Missouri. Doc's was founded by "Doc" Schneidewind and Charlie Popovich in 1955. Today Doc's, is run by "Doc's" daughter, Patty Bush. The 28,000 square foot facility ranks 2nd out of 670 dealers nationwide for new bike purchase experience.

Gateway International Raceway's weekly racing program is one of the most active drag racing programs in the country. Gateway runs three test and tunes a week and hosts the NHRA's Division 3 winning bracket racing program.
