Gateway To Host Busch Silver Celebration 250 presented by Shop 'n Save

(25th Anniversary of Busch Series and 10th of the Track, Packed With Plenty of Activities)

Madison, IL - Gateway International Raceway will wrap up its 10th Anniversary season
when it hosts the 'Busch Silver Celebration 250 presented by Shop 'n Save' on July 28-
29 in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Busch Beer's support of NASCAR. As in
previous years, the race will feature plenty of activities surrounding the weekend's
events.

On Saturday night, July 29, the Busch Silver Celebration 250 race will run on the
Gateway 1.25-mile oval. The race features another all-star lineup including Columbia,
Mo. native Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin, Clint Bowyer, Michael Waltrip, Kyle Busch,
St. Louis native Kenny Wallace, Steve Wallace (son of Rusty Wallace), and 2005
Gateway race winner Reed Sorenson. The Green Flag will drop at 7:15 PM.
Following the race will be a spectacular fireworks show compliments of Dobbs/Cooper
Tires and the return of country music superstar Travis Tritt, who will play a post-race
concert on the front-stretch of the track compliments of TR Hughes Home Builders. Fans
will once again be allowed on the track for the show.

Many other promotions will accompany the Busch Silver Celebration including an area at
the racetrack that will take fans back to 1982 when the NASCAR Busch Series began.
Former Busch Series Champs from the early days will be on-hand along with classic cars
and memorabilia. There will be Rubik's Cubes and Pac Man games as well as musical
and fashion tributes to the early days when the legendary Dale Earnhardt won the first-
ever NASCAR Busch Series event. Gateway will also develop special video tributes to
each of its past nine race winners as part of the track's "Turnin' 10" season.

On Friday, July 28 there will be a NASCAR Busch Series Happy Hour practice from
6:15-7:45 PM. The Shop 'n Save 150 ARCA RE/MAX Series race follows at 8 PM. The
race will feature Steve Wallace as he runs double duty over the weekend.

On Thursday evening, July 27 along the Mississippi River at the Casino Queen, the
Second Annual Busch Series "ON TOUR" concert returns. The event will include a
concert by Blues Traveler and a unique question & answer and autograph session with
NASCAR Busch Series drivers participating in the weekend's race. The event is
sponsored by Busch Beer, KSHE 95, 93.7 The Bull and the Casino Queen. Admission is
a $5 donation to Special Olympics.

Charter Communications will once again sponsor the Charter Qualifying on Saturday
afternoon as well as Charter Racing Vision, which features an enormous video screen that
will be set up on the frontstretch.

Fans are encouraged to take the Metro link to the Emerson Park station and ride a shuttle
to the track for a $5 per person round-trip fee. Fans can also park 'n ride at Emerson Park
in the auxiliary lot.

The race schedule for the Busch Silver Celebration 250 presented by Shop 'n Save has
been designed to limit traffic woes. Parking gates open at 8:30 AM while facility gates
open at 9:30 AM for fans to watch the morning practice from 10-11:00 AM. "Charter
Qualifying" will begin at 3:35 PM, with the Race at 7:15 PM, and the post-race fireworks
and concert. Gateway will open all parking areas including the Red Lot on the driving
range of the neighboring golf course.
