Madison, IL - Gateway International Raceway will open its drag racing season this Saturday for an Open Test and Tune. Gates will open at 8 AM with racing starting at 9 AM. The event will conclude at 5 PM. Tickets for spectators are $10, and $25 for racers. Once again the event will be an all-class Test and Tune featuring various slick tired and street-tired vehicles, Jr. Dragsters, and motorcycles.
Gateway's 2006 testing rainout and inclement weather policy will be in effect for this event. The new policy states that events are considered complete 2 hours after the first timed run has taken place. If the event is cancelled within the 2-hour period, admission and entry will be valid at a following event.
