CLARKSVILLE, TN – The StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series will visit Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS this Friday and Saturday nights for Round 17 of the 2006 season with a 40-lap $3,000-to-win main event. Point leader David Gentry of Lewisburg, TN will be trying to clinch the series title.

With two events left in the 2006 StormPay.com DLMS National Touring schedule, Gentry holds a 94-point lead over Shannon Buckingham of Morristown, TN in the StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series National Touring point standings going into the Magnolia Motor Speedway race.

If Buckingham wins the race, Gentry would have to finish 20th or better to claim the $20,000 StormPay.com National Championship honors.
