Who thinks Gilpin is gonna be the Ump champion this year? What about Harrison, anybody think he's got what it takes to do it again? Anybody think somebody else can do it? Just curious.
 
Gilpin won't be beat. 26 wins and a 76 point average. 80 is max points right? He may lock it up in early august.
 
Gilpin got win #27 Wednesday at Brushcreek. He could probably stop racing now and still win the title.

This hasn't been Harrison's year,but he has to work for a living like the rest of us poor saps..All Good..;)

Watched Gilpin run 5 times this year and he is tough. Best I have seen in a mod. all year, and I have been to about 40 races this year so far.
 
I dont really see anybody challenging gilpin, most of the top guys this year like harrison, allen, poel, kramer, bronson, etc would still need 15-20 MORE wins to get close which would be very tough. it is great to see devin having a great year but there wont be much excitement down the stretch like the last few years

I'm just hoping he comes to the mod mania in sept. to Granite City against all the big dogs.
 
doubtful...... he may be there thursday or friday but his home track brownstown, indiana has their biggest race of the year i believe that saturday the Jackson 100.
