congrats Fisher

Hey Chris!!! Way To Go!!! You ran one hell of a race. Its awsome to see a PEVELY driver bring home the cash!!!! I love it. All we ever hear is how slow our SOHC cars are and now they gotta eat those words. Its a beautiful thing. I didn't make the feature (as you know) , but it was great to see ya take the checkered flag. You earned it and ran a smooth, clean race. See ya at Pevely.

Good job

Wow! What can I say other than AWESOME! Simply and utterly awesome!!!! I know you wanted this win so badly and you did it. And it was well deserved. You drove hard and you drove clean (I wouldn’t expect any less). You and Bob Zbinden put on one heck of a show in the battle for the lead. It was great watching you two battling it out lap after lap after glorious lap. It took you awhile to work your way passed Rob Shaw then Zbinden and finally up to the lead position, but once you did you were determined to stay there! Zbinden was determined not to let you take it that easily either. You two were neck and neck (or should I say nose to nose) so many laps that I lost count. I know you had the crowd around us in turn 4 cheering you on once it was clear Zbinden was not going to walk away with the win too easily. I must give kudos to him for running a great clean race, as well. It was a real crowd pleaser in my eyes. You both did your sponsors and fans proud.

I wish your Dad could have been there to see you win this one. I’m glad you had your buddy Cory there to help you out (thanks a million Cory). Haley and I were there cheering you on from the stands. A big thanks to Brad Smith of Lucas-Smith Dodge for providing the machine for the win and Nathan Portell for the great job Shocker Racecars does in keeping it pristinely tuned and ready to race each week (along with the moral support and valuable friendship he and Megan provide). Twin City Carwash in Crystal City, MO has been your most loyal sponsor from day one and you certainly couldn’t have done it without their support, as well. There are many more people who are behind you each and every week and they know who they are. The list is simply too long.

But, in a nutshell…….you make me proud week after week. I have always told you to “Do what you love and love what you’re doing” and I know racing fits that bill! We just need to work on that racing budget to get you back behind the wheel of your modified, but I know you love to race no matter what you’re wheeling. Hang in there, keep racing clean and winning big and hopefully the sponsorships will come (or maybe your dad and I will win the lottery……..LOL). :D

~Mom~

Awesome job Fisher!! That is one fast Shocker Neon, and your just the person to take it to the front! Only the second full night in the grossery getter with a lot of mistakes, but once I get a good feel for this thing I will get my laugh :)

Again, nice job!

It's no secret that The single cam cars have always been able to compete with the twin cam cars... Some better than others. It's time Pevely gets with the program and opens their rules up to twin cams!

big check. i think we need to change the number to 1k

...maybe you would have made the feature had you not ran over every car that got near you as usual. You look like a head hunter out there.

To Cale Yaldummy

Just so you know, one of the Tri-City boys caused my car to quit turning. My car did fine in hot laps, but someone hit my Right REAR TIRE so hard they bent my track bar in about 4", but I didn't know it till I got home and could see under the car. Every time I turned left my R. Rear tire was draging on the wheel well and shocks making my the wheel lock up and the car turn right. Probably caused in turn 1 on the first lap of my heat, maybe by the same car that I hit (while off the gas, by the way). Also, I was planning to go appologise for hitting the 6 car, but was verbally blasted by apparently Daddy, as soon as I got out of the car about how they had to race with junk now, when in reality someone (maybe his kid) tore my car up first (making me the one now racing with junk) please see photos. I don't think God himself could have made my car turn left. Anyway that race is in the past (thank God) and its about time to leave it there and move on, this is supposed to be FISHMANS thread, so again, WAY TO GO CHRIS!!! You Earned It!!!

What?

Wasn't just the 6 car! If you KNOW you lost your handling why would you bonzai it in to the bottom and then run up the track into everyone around you in every corner. If you cant drive it why wreck everybody else?
Totally blew our day and yours????

Good point. A couple weeks back at Highland you were doing what ya could to take out the 2 and the 13 cars. Whats yur excuse for that?

Well if your excuse was that your right rear tire was dragging on the wheel well and shocks dont you think you would be smart enought to not drive in the corner as hard as you were after you slammed the #6 the first time. But instead you decided to drive into the corner harder and harder and kept door slamming the #6.

Also if you watch the Heat 4 video you can clearly see that the #6 car didnt even touch your car.

Like I said "someone" hit me in the rear. I said "MAYBE" the 6 car, because I couldn't see behind me and I said it before the video was posted. My rear suspension didn't collapse on its own. And I also said I didn't know that the damage was there till it was "AT HOME". You should read my reply before you post. I've tried to watch the video, but I can't see who hit my rear wheel. Again, sorry if I hit your car, but my car was damaged and I didn't know it, till it was too late. There's nothing else I can say, I made a mistake and I tried to appologize even when the guy was screaming at me at the track. If you watch the Consi, you'll see I tried to stay away from the other cars and ran a higher line. (Good advise from a friend who gave me a few pointers). Anyway...again, this is Fishmans' post and you should be here to say "CONGRATS CHRIS", instead of this.

I understand you made a mistake hitting the #6 car the first time but why would you keep slamming him lap after lap.

I looked at the number 6 car after the heat race and his car was messed up. Maybe if you stop door slamming people then you could do better. And don't drive in there at the bottom like a bat out of hell when there is a car right above you because you are more than likely to push up and either door slam him and push him up to the wall or he will back out and you will hit the wall and mess your stuff up. If you don't know how to drive then i suggest hanging up the old fire suit and quit racing. JMO

What the hell is wrong with you all this post is to congrulate fisher on his win but instead you all are mouthing anouther driver get over it
