Was his car number 22 or U2? I usually can't understand the announcer so I didn't get the name of the driver of the U2 car.

if him and chris smith were the two fastest then why didnt either one win the main.

Well chris smith started in the back in the feature so it was a accomplishment in itself for how far he made it up in the feature. Not sure where Hancock started. Just because you are the fastest car on the track doesn't mean your gunna win.

Chris Smith got a flat tire on the first lap of the heat race when that black #316? on the front row could not get going on the start and stacked up the field. I realize that these new drivers need to have a chance to get experience but they should request to start in the back until they learn their way around the track. Chris is running for a championship and this could be a major setback for him. Another car that should have asked to be placed in the back was that 00 in the Sportsman heat race. After the 88 spun and collected the 28 and 3, the race was restarted with the 00 in third and these three cars behind him. I know that the call was within the rules but the 00 was twenty feet behind the second place car on the restart and that ruined any chance those other three cars had to move forward.

why did they start in the back. was it because they were fast in their heat races.
coming from the back at highland in the modified features shouldnt be hard for any good driver to do.

How many times have u raced and won at highland. I started 21st and passed 14 cars i bet u have never done that.

Just for clarification on the 00. That was not the regular driver.. It was his crew man driving and it was his FIRST time on the track ever. And yes he did request the back. Just so happened on that restart he was placed in third cause the other cars were put to the back. He drove well for FIRST time ever.. Not a single car was hit by him. Don't bash a newbie for just keeping the car moving. Everyone has to start somewhere.

Did you not read the above post stating that Smith had a flat in his heat race which put him in the rear of the feature??? Apparently not. And since it is sooooo easy for a "good" driver to come from the back to the front I would like to see you do it. Don't matter if it is highland, belleville, or pevely. Any track that you can come that far up from the back is a great run. You make it sound like driving these cars are so easy. Too bad they cost so much or we could put people like you in them and get the laugh of our lives!! But that won't ever happen. Great job again Chris on coming from the back to finish 7th.

your right i have never done that. all i was saying is it shouldnt be hard for a good driver that starts in the back of a feature at highland to make it to the front. and tell me how many did you actually pass. nobody spun out, there was no cautions, nobody pulled in. good job on your 7th place finish.
