Good Job Tim Hancock

Mr. Byerline

If you think Tim is what you say he is then you have obviously never talked to him or raced with him. I have and I could not disagree with you more. Now about the Leka incident. I saw it too. He did not crash Leka intentionally, and here's why I think so. There was $2500 to win on the line. $2000 for second. That's alot of money. So I ask you, why would anybody purposely risk that kind of money by taking someone out and risk being black flagged or tearing his own car up (which he did) on puspose. Not even an a**hole would be dumb enough to do that. And I'll bet that after Leka cooled down he would agree.

sorry i ruffled your feathers sir.

You tell 'em Tommy

If it were easy, everybody would do it. Racing itself is tough enough, let alone coming from the back to win, and I don't care how good you are.
I once had a guy come out of the stands every week and tell me how he could easily win every race he was in. When I'd finally had enough of his big talk I told him to come out next week and give it a try. When he asked if he can drive my car I told him no. I told him to do the work and put his own car together like I did; spend his own money, time, blood, sweat and not only make those sacrafices himself but ask his family to make them too. Then come out every week and beat people like, you, Chris Smith, Jimmy Cummins, Joe Dog, Wahoo, Jim Clark, John Schrand, Brian Shubrig, the list goes on and on, and then tell me how easy it is. I never heard him say another word about it. Imagine that.

Tim, you did do a great job. Most people don't realize that Chucks car has probably 150 to 250 less horsepwer than most of the guys passed. Very impressive.

chucks motor is a nice piece no way in hell its 150 0r 200 less come on now
I Wouldnt Be So Sure To Dout That, We Help Chucky Baby Out Everytime he Goes To I-55 And Belle-Clair Or Anytime he calls And Needs Help, I Wouldnt Be Surprized If It Has 150 To 200 Horsepower less

doesnt matter if he did it intentionally or not he did it and him and jeff both lost money! i am sure tim is everything you think he is but not to smart on his part they both went to the back. dont you agree? i just happened to talk to jeff yesterday about it and he didnt have a bad thing to say about tim! he couldnt firgure out why they called the law on him for not leaving the track without his pay? they wanted to mail it to him. he wouldnt leave with out it and they finally paid him. use your head and race a little smarter. more bucks in your pocket.

Mr. Byerline

Now you're making sense. I do agree it was a bad move on Hancocks part, but, that's all it was. You shouldn't have described a mistake on someones part as b.s. or call the person that made the mistake an a**hole as you did in your original post. As far as Leka's run in with the law, I have no comment. I wasn't there and didn't see it. I will say it is a little odd that they would not give him his check. The only thing that I can think is that they didn't want any further altercations. But, that is merely speculation, as I said I wasn't there to see it.

I could be wrong on the numbers, but when I talked to Chuck on Sat. night he told me that he told Tim not too expect much because he had a "little" engine in the car.
