Tim hancock got spun out when trying to block goulden .as for kevin to make the call to pay matt for 14th is bull.the last i checked if you where to stop on the race track you go to the rear .matt did not stop.the ump tech man that was acting like a 6yr. Old pointing fingers at scale needs glasses if he cant see what happened on the race track. Find a new hobby.

Tcs bs

Kevin, how about an explaination for us fans?

It is impossible not to get into someone when they do a brake check in the middle of the turn! It was obvious. The 44 actually threw himself sideways from being on the binders. The 44 ran right over the 05 in the heats...what does Kevin expect?

Seems to me that the "don't stop on the track" rule leads to judgement calls, more cautions and more torn up race cars. Way too much blocking at TCS including the late model feature...what ever happened to just racing? Not much of a reward for good hard clean racing.

Is there a age limit to race at tri-city? Brandon Sheppard is only 15 years old so how is able to race there but Willl Hicks and the girl(sorry cannot remember her name) that race the sportsman can not. I might be thinking of highland so I might be wrong. Just wondering, thanks

I'm pretty sure Tri-City allows drivers younger than 16. I don't think Gordy Gundaker is 16 yet.

Trista Stevenson was younger than 16 when she was racing a sportsman there a couple of years ago.

I guess noone but kevin and myself we the only people that saw matt beating the rear bumper down on the 44 that tim was in last night. I mean i could understand bein mad. Tim comin from 22 and running side by side with you for idk how many and he passes you for second. I would be mad to but i wouldnt stick my bumper through the back of someones cars. I would like to say GOOD CALL WELL DESERVED!!!!!!!! JMO I understand things happen on that track that we in the stands cant see! But you gotta make it look like you tried to go around him!!!

Tim is the one that got screwed and somebody needs glasses .because he was not brake checking anybody he was was flat out racing! The guy came from 22nd spot to 2nd!!! Goulden flat out took tim out. And the call any other time would have been the 41 to the rear the 44 to his spot. But the call was argued and the winners wife won the decision so figure that one out. ???? Tim drove a awesome race and gets screwed literly in the end. By the way was the white flag ever thrown for this race ????? Went from green to checkered from where i was sittin

From where I was sitting in section BB, it looked like car 41 (Goulden) spun car 44 (Hancock). This happened on the last lap and before Martintoni (car 48) passed the finish line. I was watching 44 because he was working his way to the front.

my understanding is, and i heard it from an official, that the flagman cant throw black flags at anyone that is the decision of the "owner/promoter" to allow a black flag to be thrown, and there have been times when the flagman has forgotten to throw a white and gone to checker. As For the UMP official at the scales, he shouldn't have a say in the matter because the track isn't UMP sanctioned. they just run UMP rules. what a nice way of saving money by running UMP cars and not being sanctioned you dont have to pay UMP that way, smart move on kevins behalf. but this is JMO

P.S. Great racing at tri city all year.

Last night was UMP sanctioned for modifieds!

You must be PRETTYDARNDUMB... Tri-City would be UMP sanctioned everynight if UMP would let them be. Simply because they would get a few extra cars each night that are chasing points. The sanction fee is minimal and doesn't even factor in.

The flagman is very busy watching the entire track. He isn't counting laps. He gets a signal from the tour when the final lap is coming up. There has been once or twice where that signal wasn't heard. Therefore they have also gone to a visual signal as well.

Obviously there wouldnt be a UMP official there if it wasn't a UMP sanctioned show for the modifieds...

Also, im pretty sure you are probably talking about my dad. He is a Tri City official on a weekly basis and he has been a UMP official for years, so he has double duty on nights that it is a UMP show...and he does have a say :)
