Just wanted to say thanks to Highland for a great night of racing. City of highland took care of the electric post haste, track was fast and as soon as power was back on they got the show moving right along. Thanks to the staff for all you did!
 
I agree....
Great racing. passing, side by side. good car count. kept the show rolling.
Other than the lights, which wasn't that long, it was a enjoyable night.
Also enjoyed no qualifying for a regular show. jmo.
 
I have a great time everytime I go there. Just curious, anyone know why they stopped occasionally having the Micro Sprints? It seems like with 4 classes they could fit one more in.
 
I believe they dropped the Micros so they could be sure to finish at an earlier time. Would like to see them back, at least a few times a year. but I do like getting home earlier than in the past. And I agree that they are doing a great job keeping the show moving!
 
Awesome night and with the lighting issue thrown in, still done on time and early !! Nice job to city of highland and the Highland Speedway staff. And the drivers & pit crew who where patient and ready to race for some fast racing action !!!

The micro guys were told that they would be brought back 4-6 times a year this year. Although we havent really heard anything since then. With our closest track now being Marion IL or Charleston IL (2 hours one way) were all kind of itching to find a Saturday night track to run us.
 
I really enjoy the Micros. (those little things haul ass lol) I wish you guys could run every week at Highland or Fayette county or somewhere. (on Saturdayys I mean, Belle Claire has just had terrible weather luck thusfar)
