BONNE TERRE, Mo. -- (Aug. 20, 2005) The smallest vehicle count of the season still provided fans with an outstanding night of entertainment Saturday at Big River Sand Drags.
In Junior ATV, Garth Farris of Potosi was the top eliminator and first place winner after defeating his younger brother, Thad Farris the second place winner, in the top eliminator race.
In ATV-1, first place winner Lauren Banks of Pilot Knob defeated her best friend Lindsey Hayes of Pilot Knob (second place winner) in the top eliminator race.
In Pro ATV, Alan Brown of Bloomsdale made his first night at Big River a successful one as he captured first place while Kevin Betzer Sr. of Arnold finished in second and won the top eliminator race.
In Super Pro ATV, Jason Waller of Bonne Terre was the top eliminator and first place winner while Rob Schmidt of Arnold finished in second place.
In Vehicle ET, Philip Beaird of St. Louis was the first place winner while Gladys Edwards of Bonne Terre was second.
In Off Road Modified, Todd Dee of Leadwood was top eliminator and first place while James Casteel of Bismarck was second.
In Open 4x4, Chris Mackley of Bonne Terre captured first place Bill Sutton of Bonne Terre was second.
In Stock Buggy, Jeremy Sutton of Park Hills was the top eliminator and first place winner while Vernon Henson Jr. of Valle Mines captured second place.
In Competition Eliminator, Steve Barton of was the top eliminator and first place winner while Tim Dee of Bismarck finished in second place.
