GRT Race Cars And The StormPay.com DLMS Enter Into Marketing Partnership

CLARKSVILLE, TN – GRT Race Cars of Greenbrier, AR has entered into a marketing partnership with the StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series for the 2006-2007 seasons. GRT Race Cars will award the 2006 StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region Champion Lucky Keeton of Toomsuba, MS with a new GRT chassis.

In 2006 StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series competition, GRT Race Cars won 86 of 198 races, the top five drivers in the StormPay.com WRS West Region drove GRT Race Cars, and two of the top six in the StormPay.com WRS East Region also drove GRT Race Cars. GRT Race Cars also won five Storm Pay.com Weekly Racing Series Track Championships.

These accomplishments have earned GRT Race Cars the 2006 StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series Chassis Manufacturers Championship.

“With the sealed crate engine format of the StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series, and the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series, the race car chassis becomes the most important part of the machine to adjust to enhance performance,” StormPay.com President of Operations and Communications Roby Helm said. “What GRT Race Cars has accomplished in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series is impressive, and shows just how much support Joe Garrison and his staff at GRT Race Cars give to the weekly racer.”

Keeton won 12 races on his way to the StormPay.com WRS West Region and Whynot Motorsports Park Late Model titles. Terry Mosley of Gilbertown, AL finished second in the West Region points with three wins in a GRT, and Talbert Goldman of Meridian, MS finished third in the West Region posting eight wins with a GRT.

Herman Reynolds of Laurel, MS was the leading StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series winner with 14 victories in a GRT on his way to fourth-place in the West Region, and the Late Model Championship at Southern Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS. Tony Albright of Clarksville, TN turned in 10 wins to finish fifth in the West Region aboard a GRT Race Car.

In the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region, Championship Runner-Up Carlton Freeman of Eastaboga, AL had one win in a GRT, and third-place Adam Martin of Talladega, AL has two wins in the East Region wheeling a GRT.

Other StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series Track Championship racked up by GRT Race Cars include Scott Tracer of Rector, AR at Malden Speedway in Malden, MO, Thomas McReynolds of Milport, AL at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS, and Mike Shirley of Meridian, MS at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS.

“The StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series has been good to us, and we’ve had great results this season,” GRT Race Cars President Joe Garrison said. “We’re looking forward to working with the series and its competitors through the 2007 season.”
