Inside Line Promotions - MARION, Ark. (April 1, 2014) - Derek Hagar claimed a feature victory at I-30 Speedway in 2010 and 2012.

He hopes the even-year trend continues this Saturday when he tackles the bullring in Little Rock, Ark.

"Hopefully it works out that way," he said. "We seem to do well there. There's a bunch of heavy hitters who run on a weekly basis. We'll have some good competition to race with. Hopefully we can keep the momentum up from the first three races."

Hagar has recorded a top five in each of his first three races of the season, which includes a pair of wins.

After last weekend's 3rd annual Toccoa Tangle at Toccoa Speedway in Toccoa, Ga., with the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour was cancelled because of weather, this Saturday's race provides a tune-up prior to the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour event at I-30 Speedway the following weekend.

"It's a good test session," he said. "We've got to run the new Schoenfeld muffler this year in Little Rock for the ASCS deal. We're going to put that on this weekend and see how that affects the response of the motor and tune it for the show next weekend."

Hagar earned four top 10s at I-30 Speedway during Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour competition last season.
