Zanesville, OHIO- On a midwest swing, the World of Outlaws Late Model Series(WoO) had originally planned on racing at three venues in the midwest, May 12 at Red River Valley Raceway, Eagle Raceway on May 14 and closing out the weekend, Farley Speedway May 15. Unfortunately, due to inclimate weather in the forecast Red River Valley Raceway had to cancel their race, leaving two remaining for Hartman and his Rocket "House Car" team.

The first of the two races was at Eagle Raceway, Eagle Nebraska May 14. Hartman's qualifying effort would start him in the fourth heat race of the event. At the conclusion of the ten lap qualifying race, Bart finished second to race winner and Stacker2 Xtreme Dirtcar regular Brian Birkhofer.

Lining up eighth in the 50 lap, $10,000 to win WoO feature, Hartman would encounter handling problems on his #75 Suebert Calf Ranches, Rocket Chassis, Imler's Poultry, Cornett Racing Engines Grand Prix and finish in 14th place.

The next night, May 15 the Shinnston, WV based team found themselves in Farley, IA host of the next event on the WoO grueling schedule.

Bart would struggle in time trials, posting a time of 19.393 good enough for 18th out of 37 cars.

Hartman started fifth in the second heat, and ended up finishing the race in one of the four qualifying positions good enough to get him a start in the evening's 50 lap, $10,000 to win feature.

Once again, the handling bug bit the blue and yellow clad #75. The team once again finished in a sub par 16th place finish.

Those two races placed Hartman in fifth place in the WoO Late Model Series Points. He is two points behind 4th place holder Steve Francis and 33 points behind points leader Scott Bloomquist. Also, Bart has won $49,600 to date on the WoO tour.

Upcoming scheduled races for Bart Hartman and the Rocket Chassis team include, the Show Me 100 on Memorial Day weekend, purse for that event is $30,000 to win. This upcoming weekend is undecided as to where the team will race. For more information on Bart Hartman, please visit: www.barthartman.com.
