What are your thoughts on it?

Thinking about going down this year....

Nicel place overall?
mainly flat, semi banked, high banked?
Other?
 
Place was really nice when it was pavement. Medium banked 1/3 or small 3/8. should be alot more multiple groove now that it is dirt. I would say it should be a great place, however it is a few miles north of Springfield MO.
 
Saw a pretty decent MARS show there last year, Billy Faust even showed up but had a little trouble. I liked the speed the LMs got down the straights, the track blackened up a bit but it wasn't choo-choo racing by any means. MARS usually has two shows a year there. Best bet for you if coming from Stl. is to come down 44 through springfield and head north a few miles on Hwy 13 north. As Dean said, it's a few miles north of Springfield, in other words, make a weekend out of it and visit the mega Bass Pro Store!!!
 
My grandma and uncle live nearby and say it is a lot of fun. Unfortunately, every time I go to visit, it is too late at night when I arrive to enjoy.... They claim to have some good shows though.
