Heard a wild rumor from Tri-City

What is kinda funny is Blomquist and sweet came up with something and when the sanctioning bodies figured it out it was quickly banned but Davenport can run this exotic setup and win every big race in sight and it is no big deal.stuff like that is killing racing you know you don't stand a chance if he's at your track.

But what he is doing is legal all mechanical it works for him but some other driver it might be not that good

But hound you dont know that it is legal. You can't tell what davenport has from that picture, if ya did you'd be a late model crew chief instead of a bench racer.

UMP B- Modifieds added to Saturday's Program for the Modified Mania. (Saturday Only)

Pit Gates open early at Noon for the Driver's vs Fans Kickball game at 1:00

Where is a picture of the davenport suspension? I heard they were going to make a rule that says everyone has to be able to buy any part that any car has from a race dealer?

Jeff herzog has a pic on facebook, im sure there are links on 4m as well i just dont have them.

That makes sense for next year any way it works like an old c
antilever system

Technoglogy just what racing needs more of. I dont give a rats ass what the "big boys" have. But keep in their playground and out of the local arena. Local racers are bowing out left and right due to cost and the number of replacements arent coming in at nowhere close to the same rate. People need to get their heads out of their asses and be proactive instead of reactive and try and right the ship before it sinks. Because its taking on water fast. Before its all said and done there will be no local racing just big shows and thats only at tracks the can make that work.

Sorry for the rant may have nothing to do with this post dicussion. Just sick of the mind set of many people involved in racing these days. Its not just a fun hobby anymore its big business for too many and its killin the lil guy. JMO

There is so much I could say on this topic, but I'd just be regurgitating the same warnings I have been speaking of for the last 20 years. I have been accused of being a "chicken little" saying the sky is falling. Well it may not have happened as quickly as I thought it would, but it seems to be happening now. The question is what do we do about it? The sprint cars were left unchecked and they priced themselves right out of a weekly show at most tracks years ago. If it weren't for MOWA, there would be very little 410 racing in the Midwest. If you caught my interview with Tony Weyant on Pedal to the Metal he says he's seeing the same fate being thrust on the Late Models and Modifieds. This from a guy who saw his class of car nearly killed off due to rising costs. So I guess it comes down to whether or not we choose to believe someone who has already been there, or those who say everything is fine.

Straight from the horses mouth. Whether you choose to believe it or not.

Sprint cars take wings off problem solved

To the naysayers and downers.....

I am a devil's advocate. ANYTHING is possible. I will not call BS on someone until I can fact check it. And the easiest fact check is to get on here and ask. So, say what you want about the rumor, but don't insult me for asking about it.

You get your facts from this forum?
