Camille Francois Heimburger, 87, of Swansea, IL, born April 30, 1924, in Haguenau, France, died Monday, January 9, 2012, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.
Mr. Heimburger retired after 23 years as an agent for Prudential Insurance Company. He was a member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, and Catholic War Veterans Post 370. Camille was a veteran of the French Air Force.
Surviving are his present wife, Gertrude Corrigan;
two sons, Craig “Heimy” Heimburger and Claude (Barbara) Heimburger;
a daughter, Carla Heimburger;
four grandchildren, Claude Heimburger Jr. (Jackie Kutz),
Craig Jr. (Dawn) Heimburger,
Michelle (Steven) Meijer,
and Courtney Heimburger;
and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2012, at George Renner and Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Funeral procession will leave at 9:30 a.m. Friday, January 13, 2012, from George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Henry’s Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Kenneth York officiating.
Entombment will follow at Lake View Mausoleum, Fairview Heights, IL.
