MotorMouth92 said:No. It wasn't me. I was grilling a 16 oz. rib eye at home last night. In fact, I have never announced professionally. I did do some interviews in the pits at a Mount Vernon Summernationals race a few years ago. I did audio work in the Army and was a radio and television major at SIU at one time but have never worked in the booth. I thought about it but figured that would limit my being able to go where I wanted to go when I wanted to go.

It may be that his dad can not go any more and that may be a big part of what put the fire out. I understand that there was another event in his life that he possibly regrets and that also has taken some fire away.
Personally, I feel that Donnie has always been a driver who did better on tacky fast tracks, maybe even a bit rough. It seems that all tracks today are dryslick and one groove. It seems that Donnie has struggled to find a car that fits his driving style and is good on dryslick tracks.
