really? i dont understand why people get aroused when other people have personal issues and they dont know the whole story. maybe this person wrote a check and his wife used the debit card and over drew the account or something. i am sure there are hundreds of people on here that have had their name in the court report before

Agreed. This is just a pointless jab.
 
Really not a jab in my opinion. Just posting factual info in case anyone else deals with him. If a said business starts writing bad checks....id want to know for sure. Plus his conduct when he was allowed on this forum was totally out of control.....at some point. The reason he is not allowed on here pretty much sums up the type of individual he was.....and is. I know several people who still deal with him...or did and maybe this will help them decide to keep doing so. If you write a bad check has always been a bad omen. Ive never ever wrote a bad check. If i was close id call the person im dealing with and tell them to help make a smaller payment or delay it till i did have the money. I worked for a company which is out of business in st louis. Every friday it was a race to the bank to see whos check would go through and whos wouldnt. I was always working late so i got screwed and my paychecks bounced every other week. What a mess plus we had a baby on the way. Banks were really nice to me since i had proof as to what was going on and like i said......id rather not write a check then write a bad one. Lesson learned. If someone writes you a bad check you quit dealing with them immediately and i dont care who it is because it will continue on when they realize they can do it and you give them your business.
 
And if you personally were on the other end of the stick as to the guy who got the bad check written too...you would have a totally different view to this post. Trust me.
 
i am just saying if people on here actually knew who some of you were, and saw your name in the police blotter for things you werent proud of, you probably wouldnt want it on here.

and this is why i pay cash for everything except my bills. straight cash like randy moss

I'm sure if you look down deep, everyone on this board has had some dirt on their shoes at some point in their life. JMO

In Illinois, you are only charged with a crime if the financial institution files charges against you. Anything over $300 or multiple checks it is a felony of varying degrees relevant to the dollar amount. The lowest degree (level 4) carries up to three years in prison and maximum $25K fine.

This is Nick and yes it did happen to me. Jimmy was partially correct, but it was my wifes account and I didn't there wasn't enough money in that account. I'll be honest this isn't the first time this has happened by me using her account, but we have always made it right. It's by no means my wifes fault, it's mine for not making sure.

As far as me knowing it happened? I didn't!!!!!! I was pulled over in Highland with my wife and kids in the care for pulling into the turn lane to soon, that's when I found out about it. Apparently because I signed the check it was my reasonability, honestly I'm glad it was because I wouldn't of wanted her to have to ride in the back of a police car.

Thank you to the couple of you that have the innocent until proven guilty attitude. For the rest, have fun poking fun at me, I can take it.

If and when it gets published in a public paper..are we gonna blame them for letting the "info" out??? Todays age....when you mess up it goes viral once its made public and you cannot demean anyone for passing that info out. Like i said(and yes......you can search my history all you wish to do since i sign my name every time!)if you were on the other end of the stick(the business who got the check written too) you would have a total different view on this. My opinion.......never should happen. Should we beleive him? Thats up to you. You cannot blame my opinions and i respect others but ive been on the bad side of the fence as far as bad checks go so i have a horrible opinion on this all together. Its costs both sides everytime it happens.
 
I will pay the business it happened to, but that is out of my hands as of now it appears. There have been several writen to me as well owning a business. I just called the person and listen to what they had to say. Sometimes I even waited 6-7 months until they had the money, sometimes things happen and sometimes racers bite off more than they can chew and I was always willing to work with them on that. Heck there are still guys who owe me money from 2 years ago, but I'm not going to post it online for everyone to see nor am I going to put it in the newspaper.

Just so this doesn't turn into a tire or prep topic, I sold Crown Cuts. My son started racing karts last year and that is far more important to me to be involved in.

Like I said make fun of me all you want, slander me in any way you wish, I have thick skin and believe I can take it.

Nick if you make it right........good for you and lesson learned. But dont get mad since it was made public on here......and on the BND. We do all make mistakes and i sure have learned from some ive made over the years. I own some property in virginia(short story...got a speeding ticket and well damn near bought land for what i wound up paying for it!!) In fact.....i used to do quite a bit of work at home on customers cars. Reason i dont..........too many people wrote me bad checks or flat never paid me. Like i siad....ive been on both sides of the fence and i hate rubber checks. Especially nowadays.
 
Oh believe me I'm not mad that it was brought up, or that some think it's funny. I understand people get drawn to me because of what service I provided, good or bad. I'm not mad.
