If they have to run the crates again, why can't they make all of the crates run in the crate class and not the super lm class. That would make a lot better racing for the super lm's. There has been some good racing at the front of the pack in recent weeks but when they catch lap traffic half way through the race it really stinks up the show.

Why should a crate car not be allow to run with the Super Late Models if they choose to do so?

HH is right ...why can't they run in the Late class?
Which one would you run in if, one 18th spot paid $100.00 and the other 18th spot paid $50.00, to finish?

Also as far as lap cars at Highland, I have seen 2/3's of the Late Model class get lapped by the leaders. So does it matter if they are Crates or not? NO!

Because there is a class avialable for them to race in that is more suited to their skill level and they have a chance to be competitive. It's not like any of them are in the points race. The 92B and 95 cars are prime examples. Earlier in the year the 92B car hogged the track like he was leading the race in front of the second place car and ruined any chance he had for a win. Last week, the 95 car started on the pole in the heat and caused two yellows that he did not get called for and caused the car that spun to keep from hitting him to go to the rear. He still ended up finishing in the back. I know they have a right to be there but I still don't have to like it.

I did not see either of these two instances so I really wont speak to them, other then I dont believe that the 92B is a crate car. I could be wrong. There are crate cars that run at Highland that do run competitive and should be allowed to run with the Super Late Models if they choose to do so. We only have a crate motor and have had several great runs at Highland, and Belleville this year. I guess we can agree to disagree, as I think that they should have the choice to run either class.
