Highland Speedway makes up the UMP Summer Nationals Hell Tour Race on Sunday, August 25th! $10,000 to win UMP Late Models, $1,000 to win UMP Steve Schmitt Modifieds, & UMP Hamel Coop Street Stocks!
HIGHLAND, IL (August 20, 2013) Mother Nature spoiled the DirtCar Racing UMP Summer Nationals Hell Tour on Saturday, July 6, 2013. The makeup date for this rained out event is Sunday, August 25, 2013. Highland Seedway is proud to present this exciting night of racing action, featuring $10,000 to Win UMP Late Models, $1,000 to Win UMP Steve Schmitt Modifieds, and $300 to Win UMP Hamel Coop Street Stocks. Summer Nationals always brings out some of the best drivers in the Midwest and is always an awesome show. This is the largest paying race that Highland Speedway has held ever held and we are proud to be able to bring it to our fans and to Highland Speedway.
The field for this event is set per UMP ruling. This includes all classes; Late Models, Modifieds, & Street Stocks. No new drivers can be added to the field, as qualifying for Modifieds was completed, and there was only one group of Late Models left to qualify.
Pits Open at 2:00 pm, Grandstands Open at 3:00 pm, Driver Check In by 5:00 pm, Drivers Meeting at 5:15 pm, Hot Laps at 5:30 pm, Last Group Qualifying at 6:00 pm, and Racing starts immediately after qualifying. Box Seats are $30.00, General Grandstand Admission is $28.00, kids 10 and under are free with a paid adult admission. Pit Passes are $35.00 and pit passes for kids 10 and under are $15.00 (Kids in the pits must have parental supervision at all times.) Everyone MUST HAVE Ticket Stub or Pit Pass from Summer National on July 6th to exchange for new ticket or pit pass.
