Highland Speedway tries again with the "Lucky 40" Saturday, March 23rd!!!! $1500 to Win Late Models

Dean i seen where Babb took Brownstown off his schedule for this weekend. I figured he thought he would have a better chance at taking the trophy home at Highland plus getting the bonus money for winning last weekend so i thought by doing that he may just show up. But heck who knows. Screw it come on out at worst case scenario he wont show up but atleast you will get to see racing.

Have not been impressed with the racing at Highland for the last few years so I would rather not go than sit in the stands and be aggravated for 3 hours. That's not to say I won't get up there this year to give them the benefit of the doubt, I'm just don't feel like freezing my ***** off if I don't have to.

No one is holding a gun to your head and saying you must go if they don't cancel! It's pretty simple your not the ones that stand to either make or lose money so it's not your decision. If you were there last week your pit pass/ticket will be good for any regular night! If you weren't there your not out any money so quit complaining and trying to ruin it for the rest of us that don't mind taking a chance to race!

I'm just gonna get this off my chest....... It's quite obvious who is a fan of Highland and who isn't...Stop beating a dead horse. You've made your points now stop complaining about it and let them run.
There are things I don't like about other St louis area tracks, but I keep them comments to myself.
You don't like the Track configuration? Promoter? Fairboard? Speaker system? hole in turn one? Food? Don't go.
Jesus, they haven't even raced a lap and people are complaining.

Well I've been watching him ever since he started in a modified... you are missing out. Probably the top driver in a late model out of Illinois... that's my opinion
 
I would have gone to this show, however I live 4+ hours away and I did not think it would be too safe to try to drive home in a blizzard (I have to be home in the morning).

Hopefully they get the show in and everyone gets home safely.
 
Rusty, you and dean put on a great show. Good hard racing. Congrats to both for the good finish and the show.
