Highland Speedway's Summit Modified Nationals feature highlights video

You dont get put in the wall nose first by running your line on the bottom. Plain and simple ya fing idiots. Fing grandstand drivers!

I will say this after watching this video over and over again I'm starting to see where it could be just a case of racing hard... Could have Harrison lifted to avoid contact? Yes, but it was a last lap situation and that was the line Harrison was running. If that would've happened earlier in the race I believe there would have been more brakes involved.. Harrison did hit his brakes as you see his front wheel stop... The question is did he do that to keep
Himself from wrecking also? Harrison is the only one that knows what happened for sure.. I enjoy the shit out of watching Harrison race and I've told him that repeatedly.. I know he hasn't won as much this year as he has in the previous years and maybe it's a little frustrating and maybe he's driving a little harder then normal if that's possible. He's always went hard and that's what I like about him.. He's exciting to watch and I wouldn't want him to soften up any because then he might become boring.. With all that being said I know Harrison has had some incidents this year with other drivers. The Mullins situation I think could've been avoided by Harrison. I believe he could've hit him once and moved on... Maybe there's more bad blood there then some of us know about.. All we see is what happens when they are on the race track.. That's my 2 cents..

not taking sides BUT if you pull a last lap slide job on some one the question is NOT will that driver hit you -- the question is HOW HARD will he hit you -- just hard racing -- got to hand it to track prep - multi lanes all night JMO

Watching the video over and over i see that Mike front wheel turned left to get Ray going sideways then he slams on the brakes to avoid being pulled into the wall himself..It was the last lap and I cant blame Mike for any wrong doing because Ray should of known the outcome as he tried to block Mike on the high side... I am a fan of both and always enjoy watching a good race. I also think Ray's car was fast enough to possibly get the job done if he would of held his lane..his car looked smoother then Mike's did but again Mike was up on Top

Ray could've thought he had cleared Mike since Mike pushed up the track in turn 2. It is what is it and there's no need to beat a dead horse... They will have there battle at fairbury at the end of this month..

Wow, I should stop under estimating the skills of Harrison! He did all that in the blink of an eye with little advance warning. Thanks for telling us what really happened. I remember when I had my first beer!
