Anyways, I thought this "tech team" ALL had to vote right? So if Eilers or ANYBODY were NOT illigal why would they ALL sign in agreement that they are illegal ????? And why didnt Ronnie want to get whatever measured anyways? I understand it would be a pain in the *** to unload everything but if it meant that much to you to try to keep your points and if there is nothing to hide????
It seems to me that from what I hear that Ronnie dont care too much bout being involved in the teching, but only being a part of the "tech team" b/c Shaw is.

Rob Shaw is the only one on the tech team that really has a voice. And if all of the tech team really had a say in who is illegal and who isn't by a majority, then why were there only two of the five teching and saying the Eilers were illegal?:confused: The Tech team shouldn't have drivers on it anyway. The only reason there is so much "cheating" controversy is because Rob is too much of a baby to let other people beat him. there isn't anyone being disqualified in the Late Models, Modifieds, Sportsmans, or Bombers. I sure a lot of them are illegal.
If you hate running with the other hornet drivers then get a bomber and stop picking on all the hornet drivers who just want to have fun racing.
 
If Highland is going to have a Tech Team it sould not be racers in that class. It should be people that know the cars but show no favortism. Having people racing their hornets then tech others cars is crap

Hey i dont want to start a pissing match here fella's, but something had to be done. There is no reason that a single cam push rod motor should beat a dual cam. It is possible the way they were doing it, but come on guys. Not eveybody has the money to put up to throw into hornets, and keep up with the eilers money. Not saying anything bad about the guys, THEY JUST WANT TO WIN. Just like everybody else. But week in and week out i talk to guys who are tired of being made look silly. This is really the only way to put it on an even playing feild and make it drivers class. Trust me on this, this is not a stab at them guys niether.:cool: Jon Ripperda 196
 
its Not How Fast Do You Wnt To Go, Its How Much Money Do You Want To Spend!!!! I Dont Care If Its Go Carts, Late Models, Or Even Drag Cars If You Dont Spend The Money In Your Car Dont Expect To Be A Front Runner! There Is A Limit As Long As You Stay By The Rules But As Far As That Goes It Is Almost Unlimited On How Much You Can Invest As Long As You Have It To Spend.
 
I think most people are in the hornets because it doesn't cost as much money as the other classes. the fact that the cars are so diverse makes a huge difference as well. some people do put way too much money into their cars. there is a grand am at highland that is extremely fast but there is another one that usually runs in the middle of the pack. there is Caviliers that are extremly fast but there are also some that are not fast. (Which still confuses me because they are all supposed to be stock).

the ones running mid pack or worse either arnt as good of drivers or there equipment isnt in as good of shape. that was a very stupid comment by the way. my car runs back/ midpack cause i havnt got driving down yet but i garuntee you if kenbel rob or any other top 5 guys hoped in it they could win
 
ok first my name is jesse leo and i race hornet at charleston speedway!! now that out of the way i have been on this site just reading for awhile now. and what i cant understand is how a 2.2L OHV motor is winning every week i mean i know from reading it not stock but how much can you do to it? at my track the two fastest cars right now are 97 chevy cavalier z24 QUAD 4 and a 90 something escort gt both dohc cars and i race a 89 ford probe and the only reason i can finish in the top 5 to 10 every week is i am a good drive and the cars handles great...but here is some STOCK stats

dodge neon sohc 135hp dohc 150hp
91 to 93 escort gt 127hp
chevy cavalier QUAD 4 150 hp
laser, talon 2.0L dohc 150 hp
89 to 91 probe 110 hp
my lil bros 87 celica st 120hp

and i have never looked up the OHV cavaliers but i would be a quessing man and say its has to be between 105hp to 115hp

sorry for butting in on your thread but i think that there is now way in he!! that a 2.2L ohv motor should be winning every weekend!! there hardley a top ten car on a good weekend at charleston.. so i dunno guys that was my two cents..

I understand that, but there are a lot of drivers in the middle of the pack that are good drivers. I said that cars were very diverse and that some put too much money in their cars.
even if someone isn't a real good driver, but they have a fast car, they will run in the front.
 
need 2 classes of hornets stock an modified give the low $ people a chance this class got way 2 far out of hand ive raced the eilers an the shaws they have very fast cars an both familys treated me gr8 never had a prob with none of them
 
I am a tech and I have to say i havent been online verry much but I do have a voice and whats going on is bs eilers were cheating
 
why doent any1 say how they were cheating an let people no i could say anybody is cheating but does that mean they are
