The Firecracker 5 Crown Super Late Models Series Up Next!
Historic Double Header Saturday and Sunday Night!


COLUMBUS, MISSISSIPPI-Racing action returns to the Columbus Speedway on Saturday night July 2nd at 8pm and Magnolia Motor Speedway on Sunday night at 7pm with each track hosting 40 Super Late Model Championships as part of the Firecracker 5 Crown Summer Speedweek Series. The big event will feature all divisions in action in addition to the big 40-lap Super Late Model event.

The Firecracker 5-Crown Series will visit tracks throughout the South as part of a 5 night Summer Speedweek that will see Super Late Models compete at tracks across 3 different states gunning for the Firecracker 5 Crown Championship. It will also serve as the first time Columbus Speedway and Magnolia Motor Speedway have a doubleheader event thus providing a “can’t miss” set of events at two of the better tracks in the nation with Columbus Speedway on Saturday night and Magnolia Motor Speedway on Sunday night. Columbus Speedway will host the 2nd annual “Firecracker 40” with Magnolia Motor Speedway hosting the 1st annual “Freedom 40.”A stellar field of cars from all over the South will converge at “The Baddest Bullring in the South” and “The Mag” making for a great weekend of racing action.

All the area local top drivers are expected with the addition of noted traveling drivers from across the southeast including Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, Florida, and Louisiana are expected providing a weekend of some of the fiercest competition to date with the Firecracker 5 Crown Championship on the line.

All the exciting local divisions will be in action each night at Columbus and Magnolia Motor Speedway including Open Wheel Modifieds, Late Model Stocks, Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, and Cruisers plus Hotshots at Columbus Speedway on Saturday night.

Adult admission is only $15. Plus family friendly pricing will be in effect with children ages 10 and under admitted free; while student ages 11 to 18 and military personnel are admitted for only $10 on Saturday night. Fans should note that coolers and lawn chairs are welcome. Unreserved trackside parking at Magnolia Motor Speedway is just $10 per car.
