are they going to race tonight or should we start collecting animals 2 by 2 for the new ark??
 
The radio said the rain isnt supposed to come until 3 and then last through 9. It is getting cloudy here....
 
I just watched the news and according to them there are supposed to be a few scattered storms between 5 and 7 pm and they will move out quickly.
 
From what News 4 just now reported it will start around 3 and not get over with until around 9 or 10. I hope they are wrong, but I don't think so. What happened to the weather people always being wrong!?!? :mad: I really hope to get some racing in this weekend. But I don't think tonight will be happening for anyone! I just hope that if they do call it, they call it early so we don't have to hear all the B*tching about how everyone got there and they called it. :p:p;)

I totally understand....I was just kidding. Just remember last time Highland didn't call until later everyone got really upset and got on here complaining about it. I wouldn't expect any calls until around the time it started. I"ll be on the look out for all the call offs...I've been put on duty from my fiance today!:D
 
might have al little extra dirt in yalls beers tonight with all these high winds. Especially at Tri City. Southwestern winds will eat ya up there. Bring a pair of safefty glasses. Everything will be all right.
 
Its 3:15 and still no rain. At 11:00 on channel 2 they said we would get the baseball game in so i think we could be racing. And i hope so i have been praying all day. Heck i even went to church to pray i want to race. I am tired of all the rain and hearing my family complain they cant get in the feild to plant the crops.
 
that's fine about the baseball thing; but.... they have huge tarps and dozens of people on standby to get the field covered in almost nothing flat. even a good downpour, they are playing again in fairly short order. not so with a racetrack. a good downpour, even a brief one, kills the track surface. hope it doesn't rain, but, it doesn't look real promising.

I am just as frustrated as the owner. I want to see some racin on that high banked 3/8. Like to see Marty Smith Jr defend his championship in the modified class but I think hes working out of town from what I heard. I may be wrong. He figured that place out fast last year. Especially after leaving BelleVegas then going to a brand new track. The guys got Bloomer stats. He did almost everything possible last year when he was on the track. Plus doesnt hurt to have Marty Sr. growin up either.
 
I live about 10 miles due east of the track and its blowin like the dickens and gettin al little darker.Lokes darker towards Granite. Hopefully a fast mover.

Hey Art you know of any track that this has be done at? seem like it would be a good investment for a tracks to do this.
