Memphis, Tennessee (09/27/11) – 14-year-old, Howard Moore added another first-time accolade to his resume on Saturday as he claimed the 2011 Mini Sprint Track Champion at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) in his #23 Moore Motorsports/RaceDaySponsor.com/ Stallard/FTZ Racing Engine Micro Sprint to a pair of feature wins.
Saturday night was a special outing for Howard and the team as he claimed his first career, Mini Sprint Track Championship at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas). With 11 cars entered, Moore began the night by winning his heat race from the second starting spot, which put him on the pole of the feature event, starting alongside Henry Gustavus Jr. The duo would battle for the lead for the duration of the feature, but Moore would fall just short of claiming the win as he finished second behind Gustavus Jr. at the checkered flag. The lead pair were followed across the finish line by BJ Simmerman, Triston Tidmore, and Steven Parker.

This weekend the team once again plans to return to Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) for a Weekly Racing Series Event on Saturday, October 1st.
