Hummer prepares for “LIVING A DREAM” tour!

(Ottawa Lake, Michigan) The “Ottawa Lake Earthquake” Chuck Hummer, has acquired a sponsorship package that will allow him to live his dream, and race Dirt Late Models on the highest level. With major backing from John Gardine and Loves Travel Stops, Hummer will set his sights on the 2009 World of Outlaws Late Model Series Rookie of the Year Crown. Race cars by Rocket Chassis, and FORD Engines by Kuntz & Company will be utilized. The new team is set to make their debut at the 33rd Annual DART “Winter Nationals” at Eastbay Raceway Park, in Gibsonton, Florida. Tentative plans are to enter the final two nights of racing action with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, on Friday February 6, and Saturday February 7. Upon completion of the Winter Nationals events on the Gulf Coast, the new team will head to Volusia Speedway Park and prepare for the week long Alltel DIRTcar Nationals, presented by UNOH(University of Northwestern Ohio), with the most emphasis on the World of Outlaws Points paying events, scheduled for Thursday, February 12, and Saturday, February 14. The remainder of the week long racing events will be sanctioned by the UMP DIRTCar Racing Series, and pay valuable State, Region, and National UMP points.
